"Group testing theory in network security explores a new branch of group testing theory with an application which enhances research results in network security. This brief presents new solutions on several advanced network security problems and mathematical frameworks based on the group testing theory, specifically denial-of-service and jamming attacks. A new application of group testing, illustrated in this text, requires additional theories, such as size constraint group testing and connected group testing. Included in this text is a chapter devoted to discussing open problems and suggesting new solutions for various network security problems. This text also exemplifies the connection between mathematical approaches and practical applications to group testing theory in network security."

"This book acknowledges the varied incarnations of the fundemental group, pro-finite, L-adic, p-adic, pro-algebraic and motivic. It explores a weaelth of topics that range from anabelian geometry (in particular the section conjecture), the L-adic polylogarithm, gonality questions of mudular curves, vector bundles in connection with monodromy, and relative pro-algebraic completions, to a motivic version of Minhyong Kim's nonabelian Chaubauty method and p-adic integration after Coleman."

"This book explores the problem of nonsimply connected homotopy in the first nontrivial cases and presents a systematic rehabilitation of Hilbert's method of syzygies in the context of non-simply connected homotopy theory. The theory developed within this book has potential applications in various branches of algebra, including homological algebra, ring theory and K-theory.

"Symmetries, coupled with the mathematical concept of group theory, are an essential conceptual backbone in the formulation of quantum field theories capable of describing the world of elementary particles. This primer is an introduction to and survey of the underlying concepts and structures needed in order to understand and handle these powerful tools. Specifically, in Part I of the book the symmetries and related group theoretical structures of the Minkowskian space-time manifold are analyzed, while Part II examines the internal symmetries and their related unitary groups, where the interactions between fundamental particles are encoded as we know them from the present standard model of particle physics. This book, based on several courses given by the authors, addresses advanced graduate students and non-specialist researchers wishing to enter active research in the field, and having a working knowledge of classical field theory and relativistic quantum mechanics. Numerous end-of-chapter problems and their solutions will facilitate the use of this book as self-study guide or as course book for topical lectures."
