ABSTRACT
In order to reduce and slow the spread of Covid19, many countries in the world have adopted health policy physical distancing, which have never happened before. The research design used was descriptive with a narrative literature review method, while the research source came from international journal channel like Google Scholar, ProQuest, PubMed, Science Direct, and Scopus with search data for the past five years. The approach used is the input, process, and output (IPO). From the journal search results, there are 10 scientific articles obtained in accordance with the inclusion and exclusion criteria of the search. While the overall results of the study show that the impact of physical distancing health policy can reduce of Covid 19 incidence in the world in 2020. In addition, the decline in the incidence of Covid- 9 according to the study is also due to other health interventions carried out simultaneously. Such as wearing a mask when traveling, washing hands, using personal protective equipment, conducting rapid tests, conducting isolation or quarantine independently, tracing contacts, and doing disinfection. Recommendations or suggestions from this study are that further research is needed on the same topic related to the impact of physical distancing health policy. "In February 2016, the Minister of Health decided to increase the use of research findings in improving the quality of the national health policy and planning. The Ministry of Health has instructed the National Institute of Health Research and Development or NIHRD to play a stronger role of monitoring and evaluating all health programs, because their opinion and research findings should be the basis for changes in national health policies and planning. Compared to the past, the Ministry of Health has increased the research budget for evidence-based research tremendously. However, there is a gap between the information needs of program and policy makers and the information offered by researchers. A close dialogue is needed between the users (program managers, policy makers and planners) and the suppliers (researchers and evaluators) to ensure that the evidence-based supplied by research is useful for programs, planning and health policy."
