"One of the problems faced by distance learning instution is the of lack interaction between students and lectures. To solve this problems, Universitas Terbuka (UT) where media internet condeneted a facility of community forum service in UT website. This research aim is to describe UT student interaction pattern in the community forum, during registration 2006. 2 until 2007.1. This research used qualitative description by applying content analysis approach. Result of the research shows that there were 1.201 email, with 1.293 problems, which submitted by 479 students. The most intensive problems were interaction personal (25,90%), general issues (14,24%), score examination (11,91%) tutorial (10,99%) module (6,58%), learning material substance (4,08%) , the learning strategies (4,08%) TAP/UKT (4,00%) , TM.LM (3,41%) graduation (2,33%), curriculum (1,58%), accreditation (1,58%) , scholarship (0,92%), school fee (0,58%), credit switching (0,42%) and diploma (0,17%) beside that it shows that emerging interaction pattern leads to associative pattern."

"Flotation is animportant process in mining industries. This process employs the bubble andhydrophobic properties of a particle to separate valuable mining particles fromimpurities. The most important phenomenon in determining flotation efficiencyis the bubble-particle interaction; therefore, understanding this phenomenon isvery important. The aim of this research is to study the mechanism ofbubble-particle interactions with and without the addition of a collector. Theexperimental setup consists of a water container, bubble generator, particlefeeding system, and an image capturing system. The water container is made fromtransparent material of a size large enough so that the wall?s effects onbubbles and particles can be neglected. Air bubbles are generated by a bubblegenerator which consists of a small nozzle and programmable syringe pump. Ahigh speed video camera and halogen lamp backlighting system are used as imagecapturing devices. Observation of the images reveals that bubble-particleinteraction follows the stages of bubble-particle collision, particle attachedto the bubble, and particle detached from the bubble. The addition of acollector to the liquid affects the bubble-particle interactions."

"ABSTRAKDalam konteks pluralitas agama di Indonesia, upaya mengembangkan studi tentang 'kerukunan beragama' menjadi sangat penting. Sayangnya, studi tentang hal ini masih sangat langka. Sejak era reformasi informasi hasil penelitian yang berfokus pada aspek kerukunan antarumat beragama dengan pendekatan survei masih terasa kurang, dan popularitasnya lebih rendah dibanding dengan informasi penelitian yang terkait dengan konflik keagamaan. Tulisan ini adalah salah satu hasil upaya studi tentang kerukunan antarumat beragama dalam konteks masyarakat Fakfak di Provinsi Papua Barat. Kondisi objektif masyarakat Fakfak itu mencerminkan kesatuan realitas antara kemajemukan agama dengan tekad untuk bersatu antarorang per orang dan antarorang dan bumi tempat berpijak. Dari segi etnis dan budaya tidak banyak perbedaan, namun dari agama dan bahasa daerah dengan dialek ke dalam bentuk yang khas dari sejarah kepulauan itu, terlihat jelas realitas kemajemukan itu. Untuk menyatukan masyarakat Fakfak Papua dengan kondisi sosial dan keagamaan seperti itu, mereka membuat konsensus bersama untuk menciptakan suatu sistem budaya, yang disebut dengan istilah 'satu tungku tiga batu'. Satu tungku tiga batu dipandang sebagai sistem budaya yang diabstrakkan dari peristiwa konkret, yang digunakan untuk memahami hal-hal hidup kebersamaan secara individu dan masyarakat. Kesatuan dalam sistem budaya masyarakat Fakfak ini berdaya rekat yang kuat. Apalagi kondisi masyarakat diwarnai sejarah masuknya tiga agama pada masa yang sama. Konsep tersebut mendasari pola pikir dan menetapkan integrasi sebagai kekuatan persaudaraan etnis Papua, walaupun agama berbeda. Sistem budaya ini dianggap yang memberi arah dan orientasi kepada para warga masyarakat untuk menjalin solidaritas suku budaya yang sama, kerukunan, toleransi antar kelompok etnis, agama, dan sosial. Sistem budaya yang disebut satu tungku tiga batu dalam kehidupan masyarakat Fakfak tersebut sebagai wujud idiologi kebudayaan, dipandang penting dan bernilai sehingga dijadikan pedoman tingkah laku dalam kehidupan antarumat beragama."
