"Penelitian ini menggunakan data panel tingkat perusahaan untuk mengidentifikasi bagaimana dampak dan mekanisme berlangsungnya pengaruh aglomerasi industri terhadap intensitas energi padda sektor manufaktur di 6 provinsi di Pulau Jawa. Model pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode regresi panel data fixed effect serta two-stage least squares dan data pada rentang waktu 2010-2019. Topik penelitian ini menjadi penting dikarenakan upaya konservasi energi perlu dilakukan sebagai bagian untuk menjaga pertumbuhan ekonomi nasional, berkontribusi menjaga ketahanan energi nasional, serta mendukung pertumbuhan manufaktur sebagai sektor andalan. Sektor manufaktur sebagai konsumen energi nasional terbesar kedua menjadi patut diperhatikan terlebih pertumbuhannya yang diprediksi akan pesat di masa yang akan datang dapat berdampak banyak terhadap konsumsi energi nasional. Penerapan konservasi energi dapat terjadi bersamaan dengan pertumbuhan pusat-pusat aglomerasi manufaktur baru seperti pembangunan KEK yang sedang masif. Penelitian ini menggunakan data mencakup provinsi di Pulau Jawa karena sektor manufaktur nasional yang relatif masih terpusat di Pulau Jawa. Hasil dalam penelitian ini adalah aglomerasi industri signifikan berdampak negatif terhadap intensitas energi baik secara langsung maupun melalui mekanisme kualitas sumber daya manusia dan investasi mesin dan bangunan pada sektor manufaktur terkait.

This study uses company-level panel data to identify the impact and mechanism of the ongoing influence of industrial agglomeration on energy intensity in the manufacturing sector in 6 provinces in Java Island. The model in this study uses the panel data fixed effect and two-stage leasts quares method and data in the 2010- 2019 timeframe. This research topic is important because energy conservation efforts need to be carried out as part of maintaining national economic growth, contributing to maintaining national energy security, and supporting manufacturing growth as a promising sector. The manufacturing sector, as the second largest national energy consumer, deserves attention, especially since its growth is predicted to grow rapidly in the future, which can have a large impact on national energy consumption. The application of energy conservation can occur simultaneously with the growth of new manufacturing agglomeration centers such as the development of the SEZ which is currently massive. This study uses data covering provinces on the island of Java because the national manufacturing sector is still relatively concentrated on the island of Java. The results in this study are industrial agglomeration that has a significant negative impact on energy intensity, both directly and through the mechanism of human resource quality and machine and building investment in the related manufacturing sector."

"Setiap perusahaan farmasi perlu memerhatikan efektivitas kinerja untuk dapat bersaing pada perkembangan industri farmasi yang pesat yang dapat dinilai dari Key Performance Indicator (KPI), yang digunakan untuk mengevaluasi performa dari proses manufacturing suatu industry. Salah satu KPI yang banyak digunakan adalah yield. Secara umum, yield didefinisikan sebagai perbandingan atau rasio jumlah produk baik yang diproduksi terhadap jumlah seluruh unit yang dibuat dalam setiap proses manufaktur. Salah satu produk obat di PT Kalventis Sinergi Farma dengan tingkat frekuensi produksi yang tinggi adalah sediaan supositoria vagina (ovula) nistatin/metronidazol. Karenanya, perlu dilakukan identifikasi penyebab untuk dapat melakukan perbaikan sebagai upaya peningkatan efektivitas produksi. Maka dari itu, dilakukan analisis yield produksi sediaan ovula nistatin/metronidazol dan pembuatan rencana perbaikannya. Prosedur pelaksanaan laporan praktik kerja profesi apoteker (PKPA) di industri ini dimuat dalam beberapa tahapan sesuai dengan kerangka berpikir Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, dan Control (DMAIC). Hasil identifikasi penyebab rendahnya yield produksi sediaan ovula nistatin/metronidazol menunjukkan bahwa penyebab terbesar adalah reject proses/isi pada proses filling. Rencana perbaikan dan yield control dibuat untuk menyediakan rencana secara menyeluruh.

Every pharmaceutical company needs to pay attention to performance effectiveness to be able to compete in the rapid development of the pharmaceutical industry which can be assessed from the Key Performance Indicator (KPI), which is used to evaluate the performance of an industry's manufacturing process. One of the KPIs that is widely used is yield. In general, yield is defined as the ratio or ratio of the number of good products produced to the total number of units made in each manufacturing process. One of the medicinal products at PT Kalventis Sinergi Farma with a high level of production frequency is nystatin/metronidazole vaginal (ovule) suppositories. Therefore, it is necessary to identify the causes in order to make improvements as an effort to increase production effectiveness. Therefore, an analysis of the production yield of nystatin/metronidazole ovule preparations was carried out and an improvement plan was made. The procedure for implementing the pharmacist internship (PKPA) report in industry is contained in several stages in accordance with the Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve and Control (DMAIC) thinking framework. The results of identifying the causes of the low production yield of nystatin/metronidazole ovule preparations show that the biggest cause is process/fill rejects in the filling process. Improvement and yield control plans are created to provide a comprehensive plan.

"Latar belakang: Para tenaga kerja yang terpajan debu kaca mempunyai risiko menderita gangguan fungsi paru restriktif. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor risiko yang mempertinggi maupun yang memperkecil risiko gangguan fungsi paru restriktif yang terjadi di PT M.
Metode: Penelitian dilakukan di PT M Cikarang terhadap 412 tenaga kerjanya yang datang pada 3 minggu pertama (10 April-28 April 2000) melakukan tes tahunan spirometri. Alat yang digunakan adalah spirometer Autospiro AS-505 merk Minato buatan Jepang. Karakteristik subyek yang diteliti adalah umur, bagian, lama kerja, riwayat penyakit, riwayat merokok, riwayat olah raga dan riwayat pajanan zat yang terdapat di dalam maupun di luar lingkungan kerja.
Hasil: Proporsi restriktif terbesar terdapat pada subyek yang bekerja di bagian cutting line (86,8%). Relatif terhadap subyek yang mempunyai indeks massa tubuh (EMT) yang normal, subyek yang mempunyai IMT kekurangan berat badan (BB) tingkat berat dan kekurangan BB tingkat ringan mempunyai risiko menderita gangguan fungsi paru restriktif masing-masing sebanyak 11,1 kali dan 2,2 kali lipat lebih besar (Rasio odds suaian 11,9; 95% CI: 3,12-45,70 dan rasio odds suaian 2,3; 95% CI: 1,16-4,86). Pada subyek dengan riwayat pajanan insektisida 1,7 kali lipat lebih besar (rasio odds suaian 1,7; 95% CI: 0,99-2,91; P- 0,050).Disamping itu subyek yang berpendidikan sekolah dasar dibandingkan subyek yang berpendidikan perguruan tinggi (PT) mempunyai risiko 8,3 kali lipat lebih besar namun tidak signifikan secara statistik.
Kesimpulan: Subyek di bagian cutting line, yang berpendidikan sekolah dasar, yang masih batuk, mempunyai IMT kurang dan subyek dengan riwayat pajanan insektisida perlu mendapat perhatian khusus.

Background: Workers who are highly exposed to glass dust in glass manufacturing company experienced high risk of suffering restrictive lung disorders. On that basis this study is conducted to identify risk factors that increase or decrease restrictive lung disorders occurrence.
Methods: This study was performed at PT M on 412 employees who arrived in the first three weeks to undergo spirometry test. Equipment to run the test was Minato Autospiro AS-505 made in Japan. This research was designed based on employee?s criteria such as age, labor division, duration of work, experience of previous sickness, smoking and sport habits, chemical contaminated experience inside and outside the working environment.
Results: The biggest proportion of restrictive lung disorders was among subjects working in the cutting line division (86,8%). Subjects who had body mass index (BMI) categorized as light and heavy grade of abnormality, had increased risk of 11, 1 and 2, 2 times than normal BMI subjects. Otherwise subjects who had primary school education facing restrictive lung disorders of 8, 3 times greater than those who had university education. Subjects exposed to insecticide had 1, 7 times increased risk of restrictive lung disorders.
Conclusion: Subjects in cutting line division with primary school education, coughing and having BMI abnormality and who had insecticide exposure experience required to have serious attention in order to minimize the risk of restrictive lung disorders.

"ABSTRAK
Perancangan proses manufaktur yang baik pada tesis ini didefinisikan sebagai implementasi perancangan proses (pabrikasi), yang dapat menghasilkan produk (sendi lutut buatan) yang sesuai dengan perancangan proses manufaktur, seperti faktor penyusutan, pemilihan proses dan material. Perancangan proses manufaktur juga harus mempertimbangkan beberapa faktor seperti: sifat mekanik, keakuratan dimensi dan kehalusan permukaan produk yang dihasilkan. Selain kriteria tersebut, faktor fungsi dan persyaratan khusus terhadap material yang digunakan seperti tidak mengandung racun dan tidak menimbulkan efek alergi terhadap tubuh juga harus dipertimbangkan dalam pemilihan material untuk sendi lutut buatan.
Pada implementasinya proses manufaktur yang digunakan untuk memproduksi komponen sendi lutut buatan adalah pengecoran invesmen (investment casting). Pengecoran invesmen adalah salah satu proses pengecoran presisi yang mampu menghasilkan produk dengan toleransi + 0,002 in setiap 1 in, dan + 0,004 in setiap 6 in, kehalusan permukaan yang bisa dicapai sekitar 63 - 25 mikro in dan kandungan karbon 0,03 %.
Setelah proses pengecoran selesai, spesimen produk diuji dengan beberapa pengujian diantaranya: uji komposisi, uji tarik, uji tekan dan uji kekerasan dengan tujuan untuk memastikan bahwa sifat mekanik dari produk sesuai dengan sifat mekanik dari aspek material standar yang digunakan yaitu stainless steel 316 L.

ABSTRACT
A good manufacturing process design in this thesis defined as an implementation of process design (fabrication), which able to produce knee joint prostheses product that meet previous design of manufacturing process such as shrinkage factor, material and process selection etc. Design of manufacturing process should consider the following factors: mechanical properties, dimensional accuracy, and surface roughness of the product. In addition to the above mentioned criteria's, function factor and special requirements (toxic and allergy) should be also considered in selecting the material for knee joint prostheses.
Manufacturing process applied for the implementation process of knee joint prostheses is investment casting. Investment casting is one of precision casting processes which could produce castings that have tolerance ± 0.002 inch per 1 inch, and ± 0.004 inch per 6 inch, surface roughness about 63 up to 25 pinch and carbon content 0.03 %.
After completion the casting process, the product specimen is subject to several testing procedures as follow: composition test, tensile test, compression test, and hardness test to ensure that the mechanical properties of the product meet all the mechanical properties required for stainless steel 316 L.ties required for stainless steel 316 L.
