"Analysis of various mistletoe grown on different host plants showed that the amount or value of mistletoe antioxidant activity, which were based on its ability to reduce K3Fe(CN)6 and Cerium (IV) Sulphate, were 0.092 - 2.403 mequiv and 0.103 - 3.309 mequiv for each gram of mistletoe.
The ability of mistletoe samples to scavenge H202 were (1322 - 12.567 mmol for each gram of mistletoe. In general those three antioxidant methods showed the same order of activity, Dendrophthoe pentandra (L) Miq on tea as host plant gave the highest value, where Scurrula lepidota (G) Don on tea as host plant gave the smallest value. In general thin layer chromatogram profile with Rf 0.68; (180 and 0.91 are specific for all mistletoe genus examined. Dendrophthoe pentandra grown on tea has a big spot at Rf 0.80 when compared to other genus. Lepeostegeres gemmiflorus grown on tea has a big spot at Rf 0.51 but no spot at Rf 0.68. Scurrula lepidota grown on tea has the smallest spots at all Rf values when compared to other genus. Macroscopically mistletoe genus can be distinguished by its shape and size of stern, flowers and leaves. Microscopically Dendrophthoe and Lepeostegeres are specific for having astrosclereid while Scurrula and Macrosolen has stellate trichomes."

"Dalam pengembangan wilayah diperlukan strategi untuk mewujudkan keseimbangan antar daerah dalam hal ini tingkat pertumbuhan yang akan mendorong perdagangan antar daerah yang semakin efisien dan efektif sehingga merangsang timbulnya spesialisasi daerah yang pada akhirnya akan membuka kesempatan bagi masing-masing daerah untuk berkembang. Sebagai daerah sentra produksi pangan, Kabupaten Subang memerlukan strategi pembangunan yang tepat yang dapat mengembangkan sistem pertanian tanaman pangan.
Maksud penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis struktur tata ruang yang ada di Kabupaten Subang (meliputi kawasan pertanian lahan basah dan sistem kota-kota pusat pertumbuhan) supaya bisa mendapatkan suatu pola tata ruang bagi pengembangan Kawasan pertanian lahan basah yang menjadi sektor andalan pertanian di Kabupaten Subang yang selanjutnya disebut Kawasan Agropolitan Tanaman Pangan.
Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode survei yang mengambil data wilayah dan kota-kota kecamatan sebagai objek penelitian. Data yang digunakan kebanyakan adalah data sekunder. Data sekunder diambil dari studi pustaka dan instansi terkait di Kabupaten Subang.
Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa struktur perwilayahan pembangunan Agropolitan tersusun oleh Kawasan Agropolitan tanaman pangan dan kota-kota kecamatan sebagai pusat pengembangan.
Kota Pamanukan merupakan kota pusat pengembangan bagi kawasan produksi utama tanaman padi sawah di sebelah utara Kabupaten Subang yang meliputi Kecamatan Patokbeusi, Ciasem, Blanakan, Legonkulon, Pusakanagara, Pamanukan. Binong, dan Compreng.
Kota Subang merupakan kota pusat pertumbuhan bagi kawasan penyangga bagi kawasan produksi utama yang meliputi Kecamatan Subang, Pagaden, Cipunagara, Kalijati, Cikaum dan Cibogo.
Sedangkan Kota Pabuaran, Jalancagak dan Tanjungsiang menjadi kota pusat pengembangan untuk kawasan yang tidak sesuai dan memiliki potensi rendah bagi pengembangan pertanian padi sawah yang meliputi Kecamatan Pabuaran, Cipeundeuy, Purwadadi, Cikaum, Jalancagak, Sagalaherang, Cisalak, dan Tanjungsiang.

In the development of region, it is needed strategy for realizing balance among regions in this matter the level of growth which will motivate trading more efficient and effective so that it motivates region specialization happened and at last it will open opportunity for every regions to grow up. As a central region of food plant productions, Subang Regency needs proper development strategy, which can develop food plants agriculture system.
The aim of this research is for analyzing spatial structure which is available in Subang Regency (covering wet land agriculture area and growth central cities system) in order to find spatial pattern for developing wet area agriculture becoming agriculture mainstay sector in Subang Regency, further it is called food plants agropolitan area.
Research method used is survey method which took region data and sub-district cities as research object. Data used is more secondary data. Secondary data was taken from library study and related agency in Subang Regency.
The result of analysis shows that the structure of agropolitan in Subang Regency consists of food plants agropolitan area and the cities of sub-district as growth centre.
Pamanukan city is a .main growth centre for paddy agriculture production activity regions, Covering Patokbeusi, Ciasem, Blanakan, Legonkulon, Pusakanagara, Pamanukan, Binong, dan Compreng Sub-district.
Subang city is a main growth centre for buffer regions of paddy agriculture production activity regions, covering Subang, Pagaden, Cipunagara, Kalijati, Cikaum dan Cibogo Sub-district.
Pabuaran, Jalancagak dan Tanjungsiang cities are main growth centers for regions which do not available and lower potential to develop paddy agriculture system, covering Pabuaran, Cipeundeuy, Purwadadi, Cikaum, Jalancagak, Sagalaherang, Cisalak, dan Tanjungsiang sub-district.
