"Telah dibuat dengan baik suatu sistem aplikasi yang akan digunakan pada blok perumahan yang bertujuan untuk mempermudah pemilik rumah untuk melakukan pengontrolan perangkat elektronik, dalam hal ini adalah pengontrolan jarak jauh atau komunikasi keluar antara sistem pada perumahan dengan pemilik rumah dengan menggunakan fasilitas SMS (Short Message Service) yang diproses melalui mikrokontroler dan PC (Personal Computer). Melakukan komunikasi data dengan komputer sentral (PC master) yang berfungsi sebagai pusat pengontrolan dengan menggunakan komunikasi serial RS-485, dan sebuah sistem yang terdiri dari beberapa device yang dapat dialamati sehingga pengontrolan tidak akan salah rumah. Sistem ini telah diuji kemampuannya untuk menerima SMS pengontrolan secara bersamaan, dan hasilnya kedua SMS tersebut berhasil dibaca dengan baik, walaupun proses pengontrolannya secara bergantian.
