"Artikel ini memaparkan ciri-ciri gaya Neo-Gotik yang diaplikasikan pada Gereja Katedral Jakarta. Gaya arsitektur Neo-Gotik dibawa ke Indonesia pada masa kolonial Belanda. Informasi mengenai gaya gereja diperoleh melalui komponen-komponen arsitektural dan ornamental yang terdapat pada bangunan tersebut. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif dengan penerapan teori Neo-Gotik dari Nicola Coldstream. Hasil penelitan berupa paparan ciri khas gaya arsitektur Neo-gotik pada Gereja Katedral Jakarta tergambar dari komponen arsitektural dan komponen ornamental bangunan tersebut seperti penggunaan material beton, kayu dan konstruksi baja.

This article describes the characteristics of Neo-Gothic of Cathedral Church in Jakarta. Neo-Gothic style was brought to Indonesia on the Dutch colonial period. The informations about the church's style will be obtained through the architectural components and ornamental components of the building. The method used in this article is a descriptive method by applicating the theory of Neo-Gothic style by Nicola Coldstream. Research results present the typical Neo-Gothic architectural style of the Cathedral that can be seen from the architectural components and ornamental components of the building such as the use of concrete materials, wood, and steel construction."
