"ABSTRAKPenelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari ukuran direksi, ukuran dewan komisaris, proporsi komisaris independen, dan kualitas pengungkapan terhadap praktik manajemen laba pada perusahaan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia pada tahun 2014 sampai dengan 2015. Penelitian ini juga bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh ukuran direksi, ukuran dewan komisaris, dan proporsi komisaris independen terhadap kualitas pengungkapan pada perusahaan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia pada tahun 2014 sampai dengan 2015. Kualitas pengungkapan pada laporan tahunan diukur berdasarkan checklist yang disesuaikan dengan peraturan X.K.6 Keputusan Ketua Bapepam dan LK Nomor : Kep-431/BL/2012. Hasil penelitian ini menemukan bahwa hanya ukuran direksi dan kualitas pengungkapan mempengaruhi secara negatif praktik manajemen laba perusahaan. Penelitian ini juga menemukan bahwa hanya ukuran direksi mempengaruhi secara positif terhadap kualitas pengungkapan perusahaan.

ABSTRACTThis study was conducted to determine the effect of the size of the board of directors, board size of commissioner, the proportion of independent commissioner, and the disclosure quality on the earnings management practices in companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2014 to 2015. The study also aimed to determine the effect size of the board of directors, board size of commissioner, and the proportion of independent commissioner on the disclosure quality on the companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2014 until 2015. The disclosure quality in the annual report was measured based on a checklist based on the regulations XK6 the Chairman of Bapepam Number Kep 431 BL 2012. The results of this study found that only the board size of director, and the disclosure quality negatively affect company earnings management practices. The study also found that the size of the board of directors to positively influence the disclosure quality of corporation."
