"Penulis ingin mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh korupsi (diukur dari Indeks Persepsi Korupsi) yang disinyalir sebagai salah satu penghalang suatu daerah untuk memungut Pendapatan Asli Daerah (PAD) secara optimal. Berdasarkan keseimbangan Nash yang diturunkan dari mixed strategy, hubungan antara korupsi dapat sejalan atau berlawanan dengan PAD. Metode regresi panel GLS digunakan pada 59 daerah yang disurvei oleh Transparency International Indonesia di tahun 2006, 2008, dan 2010 untuk membuktikan bahwa hubungan korupsi terhadap membentuk fungsi kuadratik dengan pola huruf U. Hasil penelitian juga menemukan bahwa hubungan korupsi terhadap PAD mencapai level terendah ketika nilai IPK sebesar 4,69.

This article discusses how relationship between corruption (measured from Corruption Perception Index) that is predicted as one of local governments? obstacles to collect their local own revenue. According to Nash Equilibrium derived from mixed strategies, the relationship between corruption and public investment can be both positive and negative depending on the level of the corruption Index. Panel data GLS method is employed for 59 regions surveyed by Transparency International Indonesia on 2006, 2008, and 2010 to prove a quadratic U-shape relationship between corruption and local own revenue. It was found that the local-own revenue reaches the lowest level when the corruption index is 4.69."
