"Salah satu jenis mixed-use building adalah bangunan dengan struktur podium yang memiliki beberapa tower diatasnya. Pada penulisan ini akan dilakukan perbandingan gaya geser tower pada struktur podium multi-tower yang dimodelkan secara utuh dan terpisah dengan metode analisis riwayat waktu. Hasil penelitian ini berupa mode shape, periode, gaya geser, dan respons riwayat waktu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan periode fundamental struktur podium multi-tower lebih ditentukan oleh periode substruktur tower yang paling fleksibel. Selain itu, partisipasi massa pada struktur podium multi-tower yang bernilai kecil tidak berarti mode tersebut dapat diabaikan. Gaya geser tower pada permodelan utuh menunjukkan nilai yang lebih besar 8,14% - 42,65%.
......One of the most commonly found forms of mixed-use building is a couple of towers with a podium structure beneath them. Comparison on shear forces of complete and separate modelling are discussed on the paper which resulting in mode shape, period, shear forces, and time history responses. Based on the acquired results, fundamental period of the podium multi-tower structure is represented by the period of the most flexible substructure. Small-valued mass participations of podium multi-tower structure are not necessarily meant to be insignificant in calculations. Base shear of towers with complete modelling are shown to be 8,14% - 42,65% larger."
