"Untuk bisnis berbasis multinasional, keputusan untuk berinvestasi di luar negri merupakan salah satu keputusan penting yang harus dibuat oleh pemimpin perusahaan, termasuk Entel Company dalam mengakuisi Nextel peru untuk studi kasus ini. Salah satu cara untuk menilai keputusan berinvestasi melalui Analisis Valuasi. Makalah ini bertujuan untuk menginvestigasi akuisisi yang dilakukan oleh Entel terhadap Nextel sebesar USD 400 million. Studi kasus ini akan mengevaluasi dan merencanakan cash flow menggunakan adjusted CAPM dan menentukan cost of equity, cost of debt, country risk premium, dan risk free rate.

For multinational businesses the decision for investment in foreign country is important for company`s leader. This report is made to investigate the appropriateness of the USD 400 million price paid by Entel in its April 2013 acquisition of Nextel Peru. To evaluate the appropriateness of the said valuation we will need to forecast Nextel Peru`s implied cash flows and its corresponding cost of capital through utilizing the adjusted CAPM approach. To do this we would need to determine the cost of equity, cost of debt, country risk premium for Peru, and the risk-free rate as per the standard CAPM approach."
