Ketokonazol merupakan antifungi golongan imidazol spektrum luas yang digunakan sebagai anti jamur untuk mengobati infeksi jamur sistemik dan superfisial. Ketokonazol diformulasikan sebagai mikroemulsi gel untuk meningkatkan kelarutan dan efektifitasnya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah membuat dan mengevaluasi sediaan mikroemulsi gel ketokonazol yang jernih dan stabil. Formula mikroemulsi ketokonazol dioptimasi, dengan membuat diagram fase pseudo-terner dengan menggunakan Tween 80 sebagai surfaktan, dan propilen glikol digunakan sebagai kosurfaktan dengan perbandingan 1:1. Formula mikroemulsi yang didapatkan dari hasil optimasi mengandung 5 Isopropil Miristat sebagai fase minyak, 25 Tween 80 sebagai surfaktan, 25 Propilen Glikol sebagai kosurfaktan, sedangkan untuk basis gel yang digunakan adalah carbopol. Dalam penelitian ini diperoleh sediaan mikroemulsi yang memiliki warna kuning transparan dan mikroemulsi gel memiliki warna kuning keruh. Mikroemulsi gel ketokonazol tidak memenuhi kriteria stabilitas setelah dilakukan penyimpanan pada berbagai suhu, Cycling test dan uji sentrifugasi, pengukuran globul.

ABSTRACT
Ketoconazole is a synthetic broad spectrum antifungal agent, is used for treatment of superficial and systemic fungal infections. Formulating ketoconazole into microemulsion was to enhace solubility and effectivity. The purpose of this study was to evaluate physical stability of clear microemulsion gel ketoconazole. Pseudoternary phase diagrams were constructed using Tween 80 as surfactants and propylene glycol as cosurfactants in the ratio 1 1. The optimized microemulsion containing 5 isopropyl myristate, 25 Tween 80, and 25 propylene glycol, while gel base is prepared using carbopol 940 as gelling agent. Microemulsion formulation showed clear and transparent yellowish microemulsion, while the microemulsion gel showed cloudy yellowish colour. The physical stability test of the microemulsion gel ketoconazole was carried out by stored the microemulsion gel at three different temperatures, cycling test, centrifugation test and also globul size. Tests on several physical stability parameters showed none the formulated microemulsion gel ketoconazole met the criteria for physical stability.

Direktorat Produksi dan Distribusi Kefarmasian memiliki tugas melaksananakan perumusan dan pelaksanaan kebijakan, penyusunan norma, standar, prosedur, dan kriteria, dan pemberian bimbingan teknis dan supervisi, serta pemantauan, evaluasi, dan pelaporan di bidang produksi dan distribusi kefarmasian.
