"ABSTRAKGangguan tidur yang dialami pasien kanker payudara bisa mempengaruhi fisik,mental, kesehatan serta kesejahteraan. Penelitian ini bertujuan melihat pengaruhlatihan progressive muscle relaxation dan sleep hygiene education terhadapperubahan skor kualitas tidur pasien kanker payudara. Desain Penelitianmenggunakan metode quasi eksperiment dengan pre-post test with control groupyang melibatkan 62 pasien kanker payudara dengan metode consecutive samplingdi Jakarta . Hasil uji statistik dengan independent t-test menunjukkan adanyaperbedaan bermakna skor kualitas tidur antara kelompok intervensi dan kelompokkontrol (6,66±3,815;9,30±3,334, pvalue = 0,005). Latihan progressive musclerelaxation dan sleep hygiene education terbukti dapat mempengaruhi perubahankualitas tidur pasien kanker sehingga menjadi pilihan terapi untuk mengatasigangguan tidur.

ABSTRACTSleeping disorder experienced by patients with breast cancer can affect the physical,mental, health, and well-being. This study examines the effect of progressive musclerelaxation training and sleep hygiene education to change sleep quality scores ofpatient with breast cancer. Peran Ners spesialis keperawatan maternitas sangat diperlukan dalam upaya pencegahan dan penanggulangan masalah tersebut. Karya ilmiah akhir ini bertujuan untuk memberikan gambaran pelaksanaan praktik residensi ners spesialis keperawatan maternitas dan memberikan gambaran fokus penerapan model konsep need for help Wiedenbach pada fase akut dan self care Orem pada fase pemeliharaan. Evaluasi yang diharapkan pada fase akut adalah kontraksi berhenti, dan tidak adanya tanda-tanda kegawatan maternal dan janin. Evaluasi pada fase pemeliharaan yaitu peningkatan kemandirian klien. Penerapan model dan konsep keperawatan need for help dan self care terbukti bermanfaat mengatasi kontraksi dalam kehamilan sehingga bisa di aplikasikan dalam proses asuhan keperawatan kontraksi dalam kehamilan.

The role of maternity nursing specialist is indispensable in the prevention and control of the problem. This final scientific work aimed to provide an overview of the implementation of maternity nursing specialist residency practice and describe the application of Wiedenbach Need for Help Conceptual Model in the acute phase and Orem Self Care Conceptual Model in the maintenance phase. The expected evaluation in the acute phase was the contraction stopped, and there were no signs of maternal and fetal distress. The evaluation in the maintenance phase was the increase of the client independency.
