Abstrak :
Pembangunan bangunan tinggi di Indonesia semakin meningkat menyebabkan area hijau berkurang dan meningkatnya penggunaan panel beton sebagai material kulit bangunan. Berdasarkan isu tersebut, penulis melihat adanya potensi kulit bangunan untuk digunakan sebagai media tanam tumbuhan dan sebagai usaha untuk menggantikan area hijau yang berkurang. Tumbuhan yang dipilih berdasarkan pada kondisi iklim Indonesia sebagai negara tropis dan tumbuhan yang dapat tumbuh dengan cepat dan free-maintanance, apabila tumbuh pada material semen. Berdasarkan penelitian yang dilakukan sebelumnya, didapatkan bahwa lumut memenuhi kriteria tersebut sehingga penelitian ini menggunakan tumbuhan lumut daun yang paling sering ditemukan tumbuh pada material bebatuan (semen dan beton). Metode yang dilakukan adalah metode eksperimen modul dan uji sampel sebanyak 27 sampel panel beton pre-vegetated dari persilangan 3 jenis lumut daun, 3 konsentrasi campuran green concrete, dan 3 desain permukaan untuk diuji performa mekanis (kuat tekan), performa termal, performa estetika (sebagai kulit bangunan), dan perawatan. Hasil uji mekanis (kuat tekan), uji termal, dan uji estetika panel beton memperlihatkan bahwa panel beton pre-vegetated melebihi nilai uji panel beton non pre-vegetated dan standar. ...... The increasing construction of tall buildings in Indonesia led to the reduction of green areas and the increasing of material use for building, such as concrete panels for building skin. This research sees the potential of the building façade by using concrete panels as media for growing plants to replace those green areas that have decreased. The plants that are used in this research are selected based on the climatic conditions of tropical countries in Indonesia. The plants that are chosen had the charactristics to grow fast, less maintenance and considered to be suitablea for cementitious materials. The previous study has found that Bryophyte moss meets those criterias. This research compares the performance of prevegetated and non pre-vegetated concrete panels by investigating mechanical (compressive strength), thermal, and aesthetic performances through laboratory experiments. Three mixes of concrete, three moss species, and three concrete surfaces were examined within 9 panels + 27 cubes samples and 9 cubes controls. The result shows that pre-vegetated concrete panels surpass the performance of the non pre-vegetated concrete panel and standard value.

Masa tua adalah masa ketika manusia memiliki kebutuhan khusus akibat penurunan fungsi tubuh, sehingga mempengaruhi cara ber-dwelling. Panti werdha memfasilitasi kebutuhan tersebut untuk memenuhi kebutuhan ber-dwelling lansia. Fasilitas yang memfasilitasi kegiatan ber-dwelling tidak lepas dari definisi home yang menjadi kebiasaan dan definisi home yang menjawab kebutuhan lansia. Hierarki home terdiri dari aspek-aspek yang memenuhi standar kebutuhan home pada umumnya dan pada lansia. Ketika hierarki home tersebut terpenuhi, tempat tinggal yang didefinisikan sebagai home dapat dirasakan sebagai perasaan homey. Skripsi ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana X Senior Living memenuhi aspek-aspek home untuk memenuhi gagasan akan perasaan homey. ...... Being old is the period man has special needs because of the frailty of the body?s functions, affecting the way to dwell. Senior Living facilities provide these needs of dwelling for elderly. Dwelling activities on senior living facilities can not be separated from the definitions of home as its standard definition and becomes an everyday and home as the fulfillment for seniors. Hierarchies of home consists of aspects that meet the standard needs of the common and the elderly. When these hierarchies of home which required certain requirements are met, the house which defined as a home can the state of homey feeling. This thesis aims to determine the extent to which Senior X Living fulfill aspects of home which give the notion of a homey feeling.
