"Latar Belakang : Pekerja garmen dapat berisiko mengalami nyeri punggung bawah. Nyeri punggung bawah (NPB) dapat menurunkan produktivitas dan dapat menyebabkan disabilitas jangka panjang. Oleh karena itu deteksi dini sangai penting dalam pengendaiiannya. Model prediksi risiko kejadian NPB akibat kerja yang dikembangkan oleh Effendi merupakan instrumen untuk skrining risiko nyeri punggung bawah. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui risiko nyeri punggung bawah dengan menggunakan model prediksi risiko kejadian NPB dan faktor yang berperan meningkatkan risiko ini. Metode : Penelitian ini menggunakan desain potong linlang dengan jumlah subjek penelitian 384 orang yang didapatkan dengan cara consecutive sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan di PT.X yang berada di Jakarta Utara pada bulan Jimi 2011 dengan cara wawancara, pemeriksaan fisik dan pengamatan kerja dengan model prediksi risiko NPB akibat kerja. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil: Risiko NPB akibat kezja di garmen PT.X didapatkan sebesar 69,7 % . berdasarkan analisis, terdapal perbedaan risiko yang bermakna antara adanya risiko NPB dengan tidak adanya risiko NPB pada kelompok umur lebih dari 28 tahun dan kurang atau sama dengan 28 tahun (p = 0,000). Komponen model prediksi yang paling berperan adalah faktor olahraga tidak teratur dan postur kerja tidak alamiah. Kesimpulan dan Saran : Risiko NPB akibat kemja di gamien PT.X didapatlean sebesar 69,7 %. Faktor risiko umur merupakan faktor yang berperan meningkatkan risiko nyeri punggung bawah. Perlu dilakukan pelatihan ergonomi tentang posmr keaja yang alamiah khususnya pada pekerja yang berisiko dan menerapkan instrumen model prediksi ini untuk skrining risiko nyeri punggung bawah di industri garmen.
Background and Objectives : Garment workers can be at risk of low back pain. Low back pain (LBP) can decrease productivity and cause long-term disability. Therefore, early detection is important for reducing the risk. The risk prediction model of occupational LBP is a screening model developed by Effendi. This study aims to determine the risk of LBP in garment of PT .X using this instrument and to comprehend factors that contribute to increase the risk of LBP. Method : This study used cross sectional design with total subject is 383 garment workers obtained by consecutive sampling. The data was collected in PT.X located in North Jakarta in June 2011 by interview, physical examination and working observation using the risk prediction model of occupational LBP. Data collected was analyzed descriptively. Result : The risk of occupational LBP in garment of PT .X is 69,7 %. There is significant difference between the risk of occupational LBP and no risk of occupational LBP in workers aged over 28 years and less than or equal to 28 years (p=0,000). Irregular exercise and unnatural working posture are the major role of the components of the risk prediction models of occupational LBP to determine the risk of occupational LBP in garment of PT X. Conclusion and Suggestion : The risk of occupational LBP in garment of PT.X is 69,7 %. Age is a risk factor which contributes for increasing the risk of occupational LBP. It is important to conduct ergonomic training emphasizing on natural working posture particularly for workers who are at risk. The risk prediction model of occupational LBP can be applied for screening of occupational LBP in garment industry."

"The advancement of science and technology plays an important role in enhancing the international competitiveness of a nation. One of the indicators for measuring the advancement in science and technology of a nation is the amount of research that is published in international journals. In order to improve the quantity and quality of research publications, research themes mapping of published studies is required. By conducting research themes mapping, the research road map for future research can be developed effectively. In this study, Indonesian scholars’ publications, which are indexed in Scopus during the last five years (2010-2014), were analyzed by applying co-word analysis. Co-word analysis, which is part of text mining, is applied to find the interrelationship among research themes in a big corpus of data. As a result, there are fifteen main research themes in Indonesia as on Quadrant I and IV of strategic diagram."

"Most classical scheduling approaches deal with single products, single machines, and static manufacturing environments. In real-world manufacturing systems, however, scheduling can be assigned for multi-item production on multimachines in a dynamic environment in which unexpected new orders may be received. This paper focuses on scheduling problems in an assembly job shop with parallel machines that produce multi-item multi-level products. Models were developed for due date fulfillment and due date assignment in static and dynamic conditions, with the objectives of minimizing total actual flow time, while considering the defect rate at each stage of the process. The insertion technique was used in the scheduling process; insertion can be performed in batch operations at all available positions on all machines. A hypothetical case of job shop scheduling problems associated with multi-item, multi-level production on parallel machines was studied, and the computational results demonstrated the validity of the proposed algorithms."

"There is a necessity for a research centre to identify its main research theme and its subject linkages. On the other hand, rapid growth in the number of scientific publications has raised extensive data issues. Thus, it is difficult to detect the main subject and its relationships using traditional methods. Some quantitative methods in data mining have been developed and applied to solve these problems. Co-word analysis, as one of the most powerful tools in content analysis, is able to find the interrelationship among research themes based on the co-occurrence frequency of word/phrase pairs. As a result, the trend in research theme development is identifiable and future research plans could be effectively determined. As a case study, research publications from Universitas Indonesia (UI) academicians during the last five years (2010-2015) were analyzed. The data source for this study, are all those articles which have been indexed in Scopus, EBSCO, JSTOR, and ProQuest. The study generated strategic diagrams which show research themes of UI publications in each year and over the last five years. The last five years’ map shows that there are eleven main research themes in UI publications. This result can be used as a base for evaluating the previous research themes set by policy makers of UI."
