Abstrak :
Penggunaan kontrasepsi seharusnya disesuaikan dengan tujuannya. Keputusan pemilihan kontrasepsi ini dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor termasuk dukungan sosial. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan dukungan sosial dengan keputusan pemilihan kontrasepsi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian analitik dengan desain kasus kontrol. Metode analisis terdiri dari analisis univariat, bivariat dan multivariat. Hasil penelitian membuktikan ada hubungan antara dukungan sosial dengan keputusan pemilihan kontrasepsi setelah dikontrol usia. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian direkomendasikan bahwa perencanaan dukungan sosial perlu diintegrasikan berkaitan dengan pemberdayaan perempuan dalam pemilihan kontrasepsi yang tepat. ...... The use of contraceptives should be adapted to its purpose. The decision to choose contraception are influenced by various factors including social support. This study aims to determine the relationship of social support to the decision to choose of contraception. This study is an analytical study with case-control design. The method of analysis consisted of univariate analysis, bivariate and multivariate. Research shows there is a relationship between social support with the decision to choose of contraception after age controlled. Based on the results of the study recommended that planning needs to be integrated social support related to women's empowerment in the decision to choose contraception.
