"Seiring perkembangan teknologi, game online pun berkembang pesat dan berhasil mendapat antusiasme dari masyarakat dunia, termasuk Indonesia. Salah satu game online yang paling populer di Indonesia saat ini adalah Mobile Legends. Mobile Legends seringkali membuat karakter hero yang diadaptasi dari sejarah, cerita rakyat, dan tokoh berpengaruh dari berbagai negara. Penelitian ini akan membahas mengenai karakter Sun (Sun Wukong) dalam game Mobile Legends yang diadaptasi dari cerita rakyat Cina. Melalui tokoh ini, para pemain secara tidak langsung diperkenalkan dengan budaya Cina itu sendiri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat pemahaman player Sun di Jakarta terhadap tokoh Sun dalam Mobile Legends dan budaya Cina.

Mobile Legends often creates hero characters adapted from history, folklore, and influential characters from various countries. This study will discuss the character Sun (Sun Wukong) in the Mobile Legends game which is adapted from Chinese folklore. Through this character, the players are indirectly introduced to Chinese culture itself. This study aims to determine the level of understanding of Sun players in Jakarta towards Sun's character in Mobile Legends and Chinese culture."
