The research about sufism behaviour in Gefgasi written by Danarto, is formed the background by the reality that short stories of Danarto, includes in G`&l'g3S1; there are sufism content. So that this is about the sufism content because in this case is possible and needed to be investigated. This research is started with the problem Sufism behaviour in agrave found in Gergas! s short stories written by Danarto and why the characters in Gergasi to do the sufism behaviour, also the attitude implied author to the sufism behaviour. By using Scheleimacher? s hermeneudc cyrcle and by using I-Iirsch?s meaning and significance approach, and also by observing the characters, tone, and the author? s point of view, this research is searching to answer the problem proposed. There are ten sufism behaviour which can be found in Gergasi?s short stories collection written by Danarto. They are patient, willing, be greteful, resignation, meditation, heroism, generosity, and everlasting. The attitude implied author in this short stories collection based in spiritual view or his view about sufism. It can be found explisitly the spiritual characters and the holy of the sufiests which is become reference for his characters' behaviour and their ability. Implied author sees that sufism behaviour is a must in their life and tend to ignore morals norm and also a bit of love. Implied author also sees that sufism behaviour doesn?t only pray to God. But also talks about human being relationship. S0 he sees that a sufist in modem era must not be an exclusive one or far away from the earth's life, but he must integrate himself.
