Halal supply chain is a series of sourcing, production, storage and distribution processes according to standards to ensure the halalness of a product, so the process that goes through becomes more complex. The fierce competition in the fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry makes PT X must carry out operational efficiency to ensure that customer demand is optimally met, which is a big challenge in the midst of production delays. The raw material warehouse is required to respond quickly and responsively to production requests to ensure timeliness, which is a critical point of efficiency in the upstream supply chain process. This study aims to apply the concept of lean warehousing by reducing waste in the management of raw material warehouses through the Value Stream Mapping (VSM) method. The application of the VSM method resulted in several improvement plans, including the application of RFID, database integration, conveyor belts, layout changes, process sequence changes, and the application of 5S. The results showed a reduction in cycle time to 47%, NNVA to 5%, and elimination of NVA."
