"ABSTRAKPenelitian ini mengkaji tentang penggambaran relief Bodhisattwa di candi induk Utara dan Selatan Plaosan Lor. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui ikonografi penggambaran relief Bodhisattwa di candi induk Utara dan Selatan Plaosan Lor. Melalui metode deskripsi dan perbandingan, penelitian ini akan memaparkan hasil mengenai ikonografi relief Bodhisattwa di candi Induk Utara dan Selatan Plaosan Lor. Penggambaran relief Bodhisattwa di Plaosan Lor memiliki keunikan, yaitu persamaan ikonografi, namun tetap memiliki penggambaran yang berbeda di tiap panil. Hasil penelitian ini akan menunjukkan peranan seniman silpin dalam penggambaran relief Bodhisattwa dan peranan relief Bodhisattwa pada bangunan suci, arah mengelilingi candi pada prosesi keagamaan, meditasi, dan konsep Catur Arya Saccani dan Astawidha dalam agama Buddha Mahayana.

ABSTRACT<>br>This research describes the depiction of Bodhisattwa rsquo s relief in North and South Main Temples of Plaosan Lor. The purpose of this research is to figure out the iconography of Bodhisattwa rsquo s reliefs in Main Temple of Plaosan Lor. Based on a description and comparison method, this research describes the result of the depiction of Bodhisattwa rsquo s iconography in North and South Main Temples of Plaosan Lor. The depiction of Bodhisattwa rsquo s relief in Plaosan Lor has a special style because they have same iconography, but still has different style depiction in every frames. The explanation of Bodhisattwa rsquo s reliefs on main tempels of Plaosan Lor will also show the artist silpin role in every depiction of Bodhisattwa rsquo s reliefs and role of Bodhisattwa rsquo s reliefs in the holy buildings, this research will also show the walking direction in the temple rsquo s ritual procession, meditation point, and the concept of Catur Arya Saccani and Astavidha in Mahayana Buddhism."
