"Pemberlakuan Pembatasan Kegiatan Masyarakat (PPKM) adalah salah satu usaha pemerintah Indonesia untuk menekan penyebaran angka covid-19. Dengan kondisi laju penyebaran covid-19 yang sudah mulai menurun, pemerintah sudah mulai mengizinkan masyarakat untuk beraktivitas diluar rumah, namun tetap menjalankan protokol kesehatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengurangi kontak fisik antara manusia dan lingkungan pada penerapan protokol kesehatan untuk mengurangi penyebaran covid19dengan mengembangkan kran air otomatis. Sensor ultrasonik dan solenoid valve dijadikan basis komponen serta penggunaan material PLA untuk casing pada penelitian ini. Kegiatan wudhu adalah aktivitas yang dipilih sebagai data simulasi penggunaan produk. Alat yang digunakan untuk mengambil data adalah flow meter, kamera dan sensor thermal, dan watt meter. Penelitian ini dibantu oleh 15 responden. Kran otomatis ini dapat menghemat air hingga 41% dibandingkan dengan kran konvensional, dengan temperatur yang relatif stabil pada 45.2℃ selama 30 menit penggunaan. Namun, untuk jarak pendeteksian sensor yang kurang baik sehingga perlu ditingkatkan pada sektor tersebut.......Pemberlakuan Pembatasan Kegiatan Masyarakat (PPKM) was an effort that Indonesian government do to reduce the outspread of covid-19. With the declining outspread of covid-19, government start to let the public do activities outside their home, however, with the health protocol that applied. This research aims to reduce the physical contact between human and the environment on the health protocol that applied with developing an automated water tap. Ultrasonic sensor and solenoid valve has been choosen to be the base components and the use of PLA materials for the case on this research. The activities that been choosen for the simulation data of this research is ablution (wudhu). The tools that needed to do this research is flow meter, thermal sensor and camera, and lastly watt meter. There are 15 respondent that helped on this research. The automated watertap can save water up to 41% compared to conventional watertap, with the stable temperature of 45.2℃ for 30 minutes of use. However, the range of sensor detection still poor so that sector needed to be improve."
