"Salah satu masalah besar yang dihadapi Kota Jakarta saat ini adalah krisis perumahan. Masalah ini terjadi karena terbatasnya lahan yang dapat menyediakan rumah tinggal dalam jumlah yang cukup. Skripsi ini membahas tentang konstruksi prefabrikasi pada rumah susun agar proses pembangunannya menjadi lebih efisien. Dengan studi literatur dan analisa studi kasus, penulis mencoba mempelajari bagaimana keuntungan dan kendala konstruksi prefabrikasi yang diterapkan pada rumah susun. Komponen prefabrikasi yang digunakan pada rumah susun terletak pada konstruksi plat lantai dan plat dinding. Kedua komponen ini sangat berpengaruh untuk meningkatkan efektifitas waktu pembangunan dan memudahkan proses konstruksi. Keuntungan-keuntungan yang ditawarkan Prefabricated Half Slab, Prefabricated Wall Panel, dan Reinforced Calciboard menjadi pertimbangan dalam menerapkan metode konstruksi prefabrikasi pada rumah susun. Tuntutan dari Prefabricated Wall Panel juga telah terpenuhi. Kota Jakarta sudah memenuhi kebutuhan SDM, pabrik, infrastruktur, dan kebutuhan-kebutuhan untuk pekerjaan tambahan lainnya. Melihat perbandingan waktu yang dibutuhkan, penerapan dinding prefabrikasi lebih cepat 150 % dibanding dinding konvensional, sehingga diharapkan permasalahan krisis perumahan dapat cepat teratasi.

One of the big problems faced by the City of Jakarta today is the housing crisis. This problem occurs because of the limited land that can provide housing in sufficient quantities. This paper discusses the prefabricated construction of public housing so that the construction process becomes more efficient. By studying literature and analyzing case studies, the author tries to study how the advantages and constraints of prefabricated construction are applied to the public housing. These two components are very influential in increasing the effectiveness of construction time and facilitating the construction process. The advantages offered by Prefabricated Half Slab, Prefabricated Wall Panel, and Reinforced Calciboard are taken into consideration in applying prefabricated construction methods to flats. The demands of Prefabricated Wall Panels have also been met. The City of Jakarta has fulfilled the needs of human resources, factories, infrastructure, and needs for other additional work. Looking at the comparison of the time required, the application of prefabricated walls is 150 % faster than conventional walls, so it is hoped that the housing crisis problem can be quickly resolved."
