ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh orientasi strategi dan tingkat
diversifikasi perusahaan terhadap tingkat inovasi, dengan efektivitas dewan
komisaris dan kepemilikan asing sebagai variabel pemoderasi. Penelitian ini
dilakukan pada 28 perusahaan yang terdaftar di BEI pada tahun 2012-2014. Hasil
penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa orientasi strategi memengaruhi tingkat inovasi,
dimana perusahaan prospector akan memiliki tingkat inovasi yang lebih tinggi
dibandingkan perusahaan defender.
ABSTRACTThis research?s objective is to examine the effect of the strategic orientation and
the level of diversification of the company to level of innovation, with the board
effectiveness and foreign ownership as moderating variables. This study was
conducted on 28 companies that are listed on BEI in the year 2012-2014. These
results indicate that strategy orientation affect the level of innovation, where
prospector companies will have a higher level of innovation than defender
companies"
