[ABSTRAK
Listrik adalah kebutuhan pokok untuk kegiatan dan aktivitas manusia, terutama untuk kegiatan ekonomi. PLTU Suralaya adalah PLTU berbahan bakar batubara, yang mempunyai kapasitas untuk menghasil listrik yang murah namun juga menghasil polusi yang besar juga. PLTU Suralaya menghasilkan listrik yang digunakan untuk seluruh penduduk yang terhubung pada jaringan Jawa, Madura dan Bali, namun polusi udara yang dihasilkan memiliki perilaku-perilaku tertentu dan berdampak pada penduduk di sekitar PLTU Suralaya. Atas dasar dari deskripsi tersebut, tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menganalisis perilaku spasial polusi udara yang terbentuk dan efek apa saja yang dialami penduduk yang berdomisili di sekitar PLTU Suralaya. Dalam penelitian ini, untuk menentukan polusi udara menggunakan zat SO2 sebagai indikatornya. Metode yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode pemetaan dan pengolahan citra satelit, survey, dan wawancara. Perilaku Spasial pencemaran polusi udara terbentuk 4 fase, yakni : fase I (musim penghujan), fase II (musim peralihan kemarau), fase III (musim kemarau), dan fase IV (musim peralihan hujan). Perilaku spasial pencemaran polusi udara tahun 2005 adalah mengikuti pola pergerakkan angin muson. Sedangkan perilaku spasial pencemaran polusi udara tahun 2014 memiliki pergerakkan dari barat menuju timur. Efek dari polusi polusi udara tidak dirasakan oleh PLTU Suralaya, namun efeknya dirasakan di area lain yakni Kota Cilegon
ABSTRACT
Electricity is a basic need for human activity, mainly for economic activities. PLTU Suralaya is a coal-fired power plant, which has the capacity to produce cheap electricity but also generate substantial pollution as well. PLTU Suralaya generate electricity that is used for the entire population residing in Java, Madura and Bali, but the resulting air pollution have spatial behaviors and the impacts on residents around Suralaya. On the basis of this description, the purpose of this study is to analyze the spatial behavior of air pollution is formed and any effects experienced by people who live around Suralaya. In this research, SO2 will be used for indicator as air pollution. The method used in this research is a method of mapping and satellite image processing, surveys, and interviews. Spatial Behavior of air pollution formed four phases, namely: Phase I (rainy season), phase II (intermediate dry season), Phase III (dry season), and phase IV (transition rainy season). Spatial behavior of air pollution in 2005 was followed the movement pattern of the monsoons. While the spatial behavior of air pollution in 2014 has movement from west to east. Permasalahan sampah di perkotaan merupakan permasalahan yang kerap terjadi karena ketersediaan tempat pembuangan sampah selalu bertautan dengan ketersediaan lahan, penggunaan tanah, dan biaya operasional-non operasional yang harus dikeluarkan. Kota Tangerang Selatan merupakan kota yang baru memisahkan diri dari kota pusat, yaitu Kota Tangerang. Sebagai kota yang baru, Tangerang Selatan belum siap menghadapi masalah pengelolaan sampah. Ada 3 sumber penghasil sampah utama di Tangerang Selatan, yaitu permukiman, kawasan komersial, dan industri. Industri merupakan sumber penghasil sampah yang memiliki jenis sampah yang lebih bervariasi dibanding kedua sumber yang lain. Penelitian ini ingin mengkaji bagaimana pengelolaan sampah padat industri di Kota Tangerang Selatan ditinjau dari aspek spasial dengan menggunakan variabel lokasi industri, jenis industri, produksi sampah, sebaran tempat pembuangan sampah, dan tipe pengelolaan sampah. Dengan menggunakan analisis spatial maka variabel tersebut dapat dikategorikan berdasarkan jalur pembuangan, arah, dan tahap pengelolaan sampahnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa industri Kota Tangerang Selatan memiliki dua tipe pengelolaan yaitu Pola Langsung Buang (sumber à Tempat Pembuangan) Akhir dan Pola Reuse (sumber à Agen Penerima Sampah (reuser)à Tempat Pembuangan Akhir). Industri makanan hanya memiliki pola Langsung Buang , industri garmen dan industri furnitur kayu memiliki 2 pola yaitu Langsung Buang dan Pola Reuse. Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan bahwa jarak TPA dengan industri tidak mempengaruhi pengelolaan sampah padat. Jenis sampah sangat mempengaruhi pola pengelolaan sampah padat industri Kota Tangerang Selatan. ......Waste problems have always been a problem because of the availability of the disposal sites is always linked with the availability of land, land use, and operating-non operating costs incurred. South Tangerang city is a new separating city from the main city, Kota Tangerang. As a new city, Tangerang Selatan is not ready yet to face waste management problem. There are 3 main waste producers, they are settlements, commercial areas, and industry. Industri is main waste producer whose more varied types of waste than other two sources. The purpose of this research is to review how industrial solid waste management in Tangerang Selatan City in terms of spatial aspects using variables such as location of the industries, types of industri, waste production, distribution of disposal site, and types of waste management. By using spatial analysist, Those variables can be categorized based on route, direction and waste management steps. The research result shows that there are only two types of waste management in South Tangerang city, they are type Direct Disposing (Source à Final Disposal Sites) and Type Reuse (Source à Waste Receiver Agent/reuser à Final Disposal Sites). Food industry only has one type of waste management, Direct Disposing. Garment Industry and Wood Furniture Industry have 2 types of waste management, they are Direct Disposing type and Reuse type. The research result also shows that distance between Final Disposal Sites and Industry don't effect solid waste management, but the types of waste do effect to industrial solid waste management in South Tangerang City.
