"Profesi apoteker memiliki tanggung jawab menyeluruh dalam praktik kefarmasian. Sebelum terjun langsung, calon apoteker memerlukan persiapan sebelum menghadapi dunia kerja profesional. Praktik Kerja Profesi Apoteker merupakan salah satu upaya agar dapat memberikan gambaran mengenai dunia kerja profesional untuk calon apoteker. Pelaksanaan Praktik Kerja Profesi Apoteker penting sebagai bekal pengetahuan dan keterampilan mengenai peran dan tanggung jawab apoteker bagi calon apoteker. Praktik Kerja Profesi Apoteker dilaksanakan di Apotek Roxy periode bulan Februari 2022, PT. Hexpharm Jaya Laboratories periode bulan Maret – April 2022, dan Puskesmas Kecamatan Jagakarsa periode bulan Mei – Juni 2022. Harapannya agar calon apoteker mendapatkan wawasan dan pengalaman untuk terjun dalam praktik kefarmasian.

Pharmacist has overall responsibilities in the practice of pharmacy. Before going directly, prospective pharmacists need preparation before facing the professional world of work. The Professional Practice of Pharmacist is one of the efforts to provide an overview of the professional world of work for prospective pharmacists. The implementation of the Professional Practice of Pharmacist is important as a provision of knowledge and skills regarding the roles and responsibilities of pharmacists for prospective pharmacists. The Professional Practice of Pharmacist is held at the Roxy Pharmacy for the period of February 2022, PT. Hexpharm Jaya Laboratories for the period March – April 2022, and the Jagakarsa District Health Center for the period May – June 2022. It is hoped that prospective pharmacists will gain insight and experience to engage in pharmaceutical practice."

"Prevalensi kejadian Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) mengalami peningkatan terutama di negara-negara asia termasuk Indonesia. Deksametason merupakan salah satu agen terapi golongan glukokortikoid untuk pengobatan IBD. Namun, penggunaan dalam jangka waktu panjang dapat memberikan efek samping sistemik. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut, diperlukan sistem penghantaran yang bekerja secara spesifik ke kolon atau disebut dengan Colon Drug Delivery System (CDDS). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapatkan formulasi serta mengetahui karakteristik dan profil pelepasan obat tablet multisalut deksametason dengan probiotik, kitosan sebagai penyalut primer, serta Eudragit L100 dan S100 sebagai penyalut sekunder. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode granulasi basah untuk membentuk tablet inti, kemudian dilakukan dua tahap penyalutan dengan metode spray drying dengan hasil pertambahan bobot penyalut primer sebanyak 5% dan penyalut sekunder sebanyak 8%. Tablet dikarakterisasi melalui beberapa evaluasi yaitu uji organoleptis, uji morfologi, uji keseragaman ukuran, uji keseragaman kandungan, uji keragaman bobot, uji keregasan, uji kekerasan, uji waktu hancur, uji kadar obat, dan uji profil disolusi in vitro. F2 dipilih sebagai formulasi paling baik karena memiliki karakteristik penampilan dan morfologi yang lebih baik dengan keregasan sebesar 0,029%, kekerasan sebesar 12,808± 1,946 kP, bobot sebesar 119,2 ± 1,636 mg, kadar sebesar 106,250 ± 1,848.%. Alasan lain yaitu karena memiliki profil pelepasan obat di asam terendah yaitu sebesar 29.2% dan memberikan pelepasan obat di kolon sebesar 97.41%.

The prevalence of Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) has increased, especially in Asian countries, including Indonesia. Dexamethasone is a glucocorticoid therapeutic agent for the treatment of IBD. However, long-term use of dexamethasone can give systemic side effects. Colon Drug Delivery System (CDDS), a delivery system that works specifically to the colon is needed to overcome this problem. The purpose of this study was to obtain a formulation and to determine the characteristics and drug release profile of dexamethasone multicoated tablets with probiotics, chitosan as primary coating, and Eudragit L100 and S100 as secondary coating. This research was conducted by wet granulation method to form core tablets, then carried out two stages of coating with spray drying method with the results of weight gain of 5% primary coating and 8% secondary coating. Tablets were characterized through several evaluations, such as organoleptic test, morphology test, size uniformity test, weight diversity test, stiffness test, hardness test, disintegration time test, drug content test, and in vitro dissolution profile test. F2 was chosen as the best formulation because it has better appearance and morphological characteristics with a stiffness in amount of 0.029%, hardness in amount of 12.808± 1.946 kP, weight in amount of 119.2 ±1.636 mg, drug content in amount of 106.250 ±1.848%. Another reason was because it had the lowest acid release profile of 29.2% and gave 97.41% of colonic drug release. "
