Abstrak :
Sistem penghantaran obat tertarget kolon telah dimanfaatkan untuk pengobatan penyakit lokal terkait kolon, penghantaran sistemik untuk protein dan peptida, serta penghantaran obat chronotherapy. Saluran gastrointestinal bagian atas membatasi penghantaran efektif obat-obat tersebut ke kolon sehingga berbagai strategi dibutuhkan untuk secara langsung menargetkan obat ke kolon. Strategi-strategi yang telah digunakan meliputi penggunaan polimer sensitif pH, polimer sensitif enzim/polisakarida terdegradasi bakteri kolon, polimer bergantung waktu, dan sistem partikulat. Namun, kondisi fisiologis saluran gastrointestinal antarindividu yang bervariasi menyebabkan perlunya penggunaan kombinasi dari strategi-strategi tersebut untuk memastikan penghantaran obat ke kolon. Review ini menyajikan dan membahas berbagai strategi yang digunakan dalam merancang dan mengembangkan sistem penghantaran tertarget kolon untuk obat dengan karakteristik khusus. ......Colon targeted drug delivery system has been exploited for treating local diseases related to the colon, systemic delivery of protein and peptide, and delivery of chronotherapeutic drugs. The upper gastrointestinal tract restricts the effective delivery of these drugs, therefore, several strategies are needed to targeted drugs directly to the colon. Strategies that have been utilized include the use of pH-sensitive polymers, enzyme-sensitive polymers/ bacterially degradable polysaccharides, time-dependent polymers, and particulate systems. However, variable physiological conditions of the gastrointestinal tract in individuals cause combinations of these strategies are needed to ensure colonic delivery of the drug. This review presents and discusses several strategies used to design and develop colon targeted drug delivery systems for drugs with special characteristics.

Abstrak :
Profesi apoteker mempunyai peran penting dalam pekerjaan kefarmasian. Salah satu hal penting yang harus dilakukan untuk menjadi seorang apoteker profesional adalah berpartisipasi langsung dalam melakukan praktik kefarmasian. Maka dari itu, calon apoteker dituntut untuk menjalani prktik profesi sebagai bekal dan pengalaman untuk memahami peran apoteker dan meningkatkan kompetensi sebelum memasuki dunia kerja. Praktik Kerja Profesi Apoteker dilaksanakan di PT Novell Pharmaceutical Laboratories periode Februari – Maret 2021, PT SamMarie Tramedifa periode April 2021, dan Apotek Barkah periode Mei 2021. Melalui proses PKPA di industri farmasi, pedagang besar farmasi, dan apotek tersebut, calon apoteker diharapkan mampu memperoleh wawasan, pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan pengalaman yang sesuai untuk melakukan pekerjaan kefarmasian. ......Pharmacists have important role in pharmacy practice. One of important things that must be done to become a professional pharmacist is participate directly in the practice of pharmacy. Therefore, prospective pharmacists are required to undergo professional practice as a provision and experience to understand the role of pharmacists and increase competence before entering the world of work. The Professional Practice of Pharmacist is held at PT Novell Pharmaceutical Laboratories for the periode February – March 2021, PT SamMarie Tramedifa for the April 2021 period, and Apotek Barkah for the May 2021 period. Through the activities in the pharmaceutical industry, distributor, and pharmacy, prospective pharmacists are expected to be able to obtain appropriate insight, knowledge, skills, and experience to perform pharmaceutical practice.
