"Pengembangan material biologis mampu luruh alami sebagai aplikasi perancah pembuluh darah telah banyak dilakukan. Pada penelitian sebelumnya Fe-Mn-C berstruktur busa dengan 5% kalium karbonat (K2CO3) berhasil dikembangkan dengan fasa austenit dan laju degradasi yang cukup baik. Namun kandungan karbon yang terbentuk masih sangat tinggi dengan membentuk fasa grafit (C) menyebabkan kekerasan yang terlalu tinggi dan meninggalkan sifat magnet yang akan mengganggu saat pemeriksaan MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging). Variasi komposisi unsur karbon (0%, dan 0,5%C) dilakukan untuk memperbaiki sifat mekanik dan membentuk fasa austenit sepenuhnya guna diperoleh sifat yang non magnetic. Pemaduan mekanik material serbuk dilakukan dengan metode rotary mixing dengan komposisi target Fe-35Mn dan Fe-35Mn-0,5C. Sinter dilakukan pada temperatur 850oC selama 3 jam dan dilanjutkan dengan sinter dekomposisi pada temperatur 1100oC selama 1,5 jam di atmosfer inert gas Nitrogen (N). Hasil sinter kemudian dilakukan karakterisasi sifat fisik, kimia, mekanik, dan perilaku korosinya. Fasa yang terbentuk adalah fasa austenit, dan fasa mangan oksida dengan laju degradasi yang baik dan tidak bersifat magnet.

Development of degradable biomaterial for coronary stent applications has been carried out. Degradable biomaterial Fe-Mn-C with foam structure with 5% potassium carbonate (K2CO3) was successfully developed with austenite phase and good degradation rate. However, the carbon content still too high and produce graphite phase (C) causing the hardness becomes too high and will produce the magnetic properties that interfere with the examination process of MRI (magnetic resonance imaging). Variations of carbon composition (0%, and 0.5% C) has been done to improve mechanical properties and form a fully austenite phase to produce non-magnetic properties. Mechanical alloying of powder material done by rotary mixing method with a target composition of alloy are Fe-35Mn and Fe-35Mn-0,5C. Sintering was performed in inert gas atmosphere of nitrogen (N) at temperature of 850oC for 3 hours and continued at 1100oC for 1.5 hours. Several characterization was performed on sintered sampel such as physical, chemical, and mechanical properties also degradation behavior. Austenite and manganese oxide phase with a good rate of degradation and not magnetic properties are formed in this degradable biomaterial Fe-Mn-C."

"Bahan baku poliolefin dalam industri harus mengandung <5% alkuna atau diena. Konsentrasi pengotor ini harus dikurangi hingga <10 ppm untuk mencegah keracunan katalis pada proses polimerisasi dalam produksi plastik. Pengotor ini umumnya dihilangkan melalui hidrogenasi selektif alkuna menjadi alkena yang diinginkan. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan hidrogenasi selektif alkuna menggunakan katalis bimetalik NiCo yang didukung oleh karbon mesopori (KM). Penelitian ini dimulai dengan mensintesis katalis bimetalik NiCo menggunakan Ni(NO3)2.6H2O dan Co(NO3)2.6H2O sebagai prekursor yang kemudian diimpregnasikan pada karbon mesopori (NiCo/KM). Katalis NiCO/KM kemudian di karakterisasi menggunakan FTIR, XRD, TEM-EDX dan SAA. Katalis bimetalik NiCo/KM selanjutnya digunakan untuk aplikasi studi kinetik dan reaksi hidrogenasi dengan variasi substrat. Untuk aplikasi reaksi hidrogenasi alkuna, produk yang dihasilkan dikarakterisasi menggunakan GC-MS. Katalis NiCo/KM memiliki luas permukaan sebesar 104,928 m2/g dengan diameter pori sebesar 13,36 nm dan diameter partikel sebesar 13,74 nm. Hasil analisis menunjukkan reaksi hidrogenasi difenilasetilena memiliki orde reaksi satu semu dengan konstanta laju reaksi sebesar 0,0014 s-1 pada suhu 30°C dan 0,0042 s-1 pada suhu 50°C, sehingga didapatkan energi aktivasi sebesar 44,696 kJ/mol. Variasi substrat dilakukan menggunakan tiga jenis alkuna yaitu alkuna internal (difenilasetilena), alkuna terminal aromatik (fenilasetilena), dan alkuna terminal alifatik (1-oktuna). Didapatkan bahwa NiCo/KM dapat mengkatalisis reaksi hidrogenasi difenilasetilena dan fenilasetilena secara selektif, namun tidak dapat mengkatalisis secara selektif reaksi hidrogenasi 1-oktuna.
......Polyolefin raw materials in industry must contain <5% alkyne or diene. The concentration of this impurity must be reduced to <10 ppm to prevent poisoning of the catalyst in the polymerization process. These impurities are generally removed by selective hydrogenation of the alkyne to the desired alkene. In this study, selective hydrogenation of alkynes was carried out using a bimetallic catalyst NiCo supported on mesoporous carbon (KM). This research was started by synthesizing the catalyst using Ni(NO3)2.6H2O and Co(NO3)2.6H2O as precursors which were then impregnated on mesoporous carbon (NiCo/KM). The NiCO/KM catalyst was then characterized using FTIR, XRD, TEM-EDX and SAA. The NiCo/KM bimetallic catalyst was then used for the application of kinetic studies and hydrogenation reactions with a variety of substrates. For the application of alkyne hydrogenation, the resulting products were characterized using GC-MS. NiCo/KM catalyst has a surface area of 104.928 m2/g with a pore diameter of 13.36 nm and a particle diameter of 13.74 nm. The results of the analysis showed that the hydrogenation reaction of diphenylacetylene had a pseudo-first order reaction with a reaction rate constant 0.0014 s-1 at 30°C and 0.0042 s-1 at 50°C, with activation energy was 44,696 kJ/mol. Substrate scope was carried out using three types of alkynes, internal alkynes (diphenylacetylene), aromatic terminal alkynes (phenylacetylene), and aliphatic terminal alkynes (1-octune). It was found that NiCo/KM can catalyze the hydrogenation reaction of diphenylacetylene and phenylacetylene selectively, but cannot selectively catalyze the hydrogenation of 1-octyne."

"Persaingan antar perusahaan yang semakin meningkat mengharuskan setiap organisasi/perusahaan untuk memiliki anggota dengan kinerja yang tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh dari kedua dimensi orientasi karier protean yaitu self-directed dan values-driven terhadap kinerja in-role karyawan di organisasi.
Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan alat ukur Protean Career Attitudes Scale untuk mengukur orientasi karier protean dan Job Performance Scale in-role performance untuk mengukur kinerja. Penelitian dilakukan kepada 172 partisipan yang berasal dari berbagai sektor kerja.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dimensi self-directed pada orientasi karier protean berkontribusi sebesar 16 dan dimensi values-driven berkontribusi sebesar 3 dalam menjelaskan kinerja individu.

The increase of competitiveness among companies forces orgnization to have employees with high performance. The aim of this study is to examine the influence of self directed and values driven as dimensions of protean career orientation toward employees rsquo in role performance in organization.
This quantitative study using Protean Career Attitudes Scale to measure self directed and values driven and also Job Performance Scale to measure in role performance. This study was conducted on 172 participants from various organizations and companies.
Results indicate that both dimensions have significant influence. Self directed contributes 16 while values driven only contributes 3 of in role performance.

"Music is one of physical surrounding which can affect shopping behavior in service settings. The state that music can be used to affect shopping behavior comes from the atmosphere concept and environmental psychology theory. Many studies provide some empirical evidence to support that music affect the amount of time and money which shoppers spend in service settings. Therefore, it is important for service providers, especially retailers to apply this musical effects to the development of more effective retail and service strategies regarding the selection of appropriate background music. Retailers can apply some guidances which proposed by Herrrington and Capella to determine the appropriate background music."
