"Penelitian ini menganalisis pengaruh karakteristik perusahaan terhadap struktur modal perusahaan. Dalam karakteristik perusahaan, terdapat variabel growth opportunities, profitabilitas, distance from bankruptcy, company size, dan asset tangibility. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Ordinary Least Square (OLS) dan menemukan bahwa pada 110 perusahaan nonfinansial di Indonesia pada tahun 2010-2014. Growth opportunities, profitabilitas, distance from bankruptcy, dan asset tangibility, menunjukan pengaruh negatif terhadap leverage perusahaan, sedangkan size menunjukan pengaruh positif terhardap leverage perusahaan. ......This study analyzes the influence of the characteristics of the company and industry characteristics of the company's capital structure. In the characteristics of the company, there are variable growth opportunities, profitability, distance from bankruptcy, company size, and asset tangibility. This study uses ordinary least squares (OLS) and found that in 110 non-financial companies in Indonesia in 2010-2014. Growth opportunities profitability, distance from bankruptcy, and asset tangibility showed a negative effect on the company's leverage, meanwhile, company size showed a positive effect on the company?s leverage."
