Abstrak :
Studi ini didasarkan pada sejumlah besar usaha kecil dan menengah dalam penerapan Total Quality Management TQM . Kurangnya standarisasi atau kejelasan sistem mutu yang digunakan dalam UKM agak menjadi kendala bagi UKM dalam mempertahankan sistem manajemen. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis penerapan Total Quality Management TQM untuk industri kecil dan kecil di sektor makanan. Setelah mengetahui hasil implementasi Total Quality Management TQM dalam industri kecil dan menengah di industri makanan. Metodologi yang digunakan adalah mengambil data primer dengan kuesioner. Penelitian ini merupakan studi empiris menggunakan teknik studi populasi atau sering disebut sebagai teknik sensus dalam data. Data yang dihasilkan akan diproses dengan metode Structural Equation Model SEM . Batasan penelitian adalah industri kecil dan menengah di industri makanan. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa faktor strategik memberi pengaruh terhadap kinerja non-finansial. Hal ini berarti faktor-faktor seperti komitmen manajemen dan leadership kepemimpinan, budaya perusahaan, dan perbaikan berkelanjutan memberikan kontribusi terhadap kinerja non-finansial. Kemudian faktor taktis memberikan pengaruh terhadap kinerja finansial, sedangkan faktor operasional memberikan pengaruh terhadap kinerja non finansial. ......This study is based on a large number of small and medium enterprises in the application of Total Quality Management. The lack of standardization or clarity of the quality system used in SMEs is rather a constraint for SMEs in maintaining the management system. The purpose of this study was to analyze the application of Total Quality Management for small and medium industries in the food sector. After knowing the result of Total Quality Management implementation in small and medium industry in food industries. The methodology used is taking primary data with questionnaires. This study is an empirical study using population study techniques or often referred to as census techniques in the data. The resulting data will be processed by the Structural Equation Model SEM method. Restrictive studies are small and medium industries in the food industries. The results of this study show that strategic factors influence the nonfinancial performance. This means factors such as management commitment and leadership, corporate culture, and continuous improvement contribute to nonfinancial performance. Then tactical factor gives influence to financial performance. Whereas operational factor give influence to non finansial performance.

Abstrak :
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengurangi short stop dan breakdown yang terjadi pada mesin label dan mesin case packer. Pada proses short stop dan breakdown merupakan salah satu dari pemborosan yaitu pemborosan waktu, pemborosan material, dan pemborosan uang. Short stop terjadi karena mesin label dan mesin case packer berhenti sesaat karena ada masalah pada mesin. Hal ini dipengaruhi kondisi mesin yang tidak terawat dan tidak ada standar dalam penggunaan mesin label maupun mesin case packer. Obyek penelitian ini adalah perusahaan yang bergerak dalam bidang pengolahan susu segar, sedangkan fokus penelitian pada proses pengemasan susu kental manis (sweetened condensed milk). Penelitian ini diawali dengan analisa penyebab terjadinya short stop dan breakdown kemudian menyusun rencana tindakan perbaikan untuk mengurangi dan mempertahankan kondisi mesin. Data penelitian yang telah dikumpulkan kemudian di analisa dengan metode DMAIC. Dari hasil penelitian dapat diketahui 8 penyebab terjadinya short stop dan breakdown pada mesin label dan 5 penyebab terjadinya short stop dan breakdown pada mesin case packer. Yang menjadi penyebab utama pada mesin label adalah sistem hidrolik, tidak ada standar penyetelan magazine label, tidak ada standar sensor, perbedaan material label,komponen-komponen mesin yang sudah aus, kotor dan tidak terawat. Sedangkan pada case packer adalah disebabkan proses pelabelan yang tidak sempurna, permasalahan program PLC, track yang tidak rata, belum ada standar settingan karton dan tidak ada pengecekan berkala. desain program ini akan menghasilkan pengurangan short stop pada mesin label sebesar 37 % dan mesin case packer sampai dengan 58.5 %. ......This research aims to reduce the short stop and the breakdown that occurred on the label machine and engine case packer. In the short stop and the breakdown is one of the waste that is waste of time, material waste, and waste of money. Short stop because the engine label and case packer machine stops for a moment because there is a problem on a machine. It is influenced by conditions which do not machine well maintained and there is no standard in the use of machines and machine label case packer. The object of this study is a company that is engaged in processing of fresh milk, while the focus of research on the process of packing sweetened condensed milk (sweetened condensed milk). This study begins with analysis of the cause of the short stop and breakdown then the corrective action plan to reduce and maintain the condition of the engine. The research data has been collected and then analyzed with the DMAIC method. From the results of this research is eight causes of the short stop and breakdown on the label machine and 5 cause of the short stop and breakdown in the engine case packer. The main cause is the label on the machine hydraulic system, there is no standard tuning magazine label, there is no censorship standards, differences in label materials, engine components that are worn, dirty and unkempt. Meanwhile, in the case packer is due to the labeling process is not perfect, the PLC program problems, uneven track, there are no standards setting board and there are no periodic checks. This program design will result in the reduction of short stop on the engine label by 37% and case packer machine up to 58.5%.
