"Tulisan ini hendak berargumen bahwa kekhawatiran Amerika Serikat atas SWFs, khususnya SWFs Cina didorong oleh distribusi power SWFs dan juga iliberalisme Amerika Serikat. Dengan menggunakan Cina sebagai studi kasus, tulisan ini berusaha untuk mengidentifikasi distribusi power melalui perpindahan SWFs Cina agar diperoleh pemahaman mengenai munculnya kekhawatiran Amerika Serikat atas SWFs, khususnya SWFs Cina. Namun dalam perjalanannya, ternyata juga ditemukan bahwa iliberalisme yang terkandung dalam liberalisme Amerika Serikat juga berperan penting dalam pembentukan kekhawatiran itu sendiri. ......This paper will argue that U.S. concerns over SWFs, especially China's SWFs are driven by the distribution of power of SWFs and also U.S. illiberalism. By using China as a case study, this paper attempts to identify the distribution of power of SWFs from the China's SWFs movement in order to obtain an understanding about the rise of U.S. concerns over SWFs, especially China's SWFs. But in the middle of the process, it was also found that illiberalism contained in U.S. liberalism also play an important role in the formation of that concerns."
