Skripsi ini merupakan studi mengenai perilaku penurunan pondasi pada sebuah bangunan di Depok yang diduga mengalami perubahan letak muka air tanah. Daya dukung tanah sangat dipengaruhi oleh kandungan air didalamnya sehingga berdampak pada pemilihan daya dukung pondasi yang digunakan. Perubahan letak muka air tanah dipengaruhi oleh perubahan iklim dan proses konstruksi yang dilakukan. Oleh karena itu, letak muka air tanah dijadikan salah satu variabel yang ditinjau. Namun, detail informasi terkait pondasi bangunan tersebut tidak diperoleh secara lengkap sehingga ukuran pondasi juga dijadikan variabel dalam penelitian. Perilaku penurunan pondasi ini akan dianalisis dengan menggunakan perangkat lunak Plaxis 2 Dimensi Versi 8.2. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, akan terlihat pengaruh perubahan letak muka air tanah, serta jenis dan ukuran pondasi terhadap penurunan yang dialami.

ABSTRACT
This is a study about the behavior of a building foundation located in Depok, which is potential to has a changing of ground water level. Bearing capacity of the soil is strongly influenced by the water content in it so it impact the selection of the foundation. The changing of ground water level is affected by climate change and the construction process. Therefore, the ground water level is used as one of the variables in this study. However, the detail information related to the building foundation was not complete enough. So, the size of the foundation is also used as a variable in this study. The behavior of the foundation will be analyzed using software Plaxis 2D Version 8.2. Based on the analysis, the effect of the changes of the water table and type and size of foundation to the settlement can be concluded.
