Penulisan ini dibuat untuk mengungkapkan apa yang melatarbelakangi implementasi dalam pemberian hak pendidikan untuk warga binaan. Fenomena ini dijelaskan dengan menggunakan teori keadilan sosial, teori pembelajaran sosial, dan teori kontrol sosial. Hasil dari penulisan ini menunjukkan bahwa pemberian pendidikan strata satu di dalam lembaga pemasyarakatan dapat memberikan dampak yang positif dalam proses reintegrasi untuk warga binaan yang telah mengikuti proses pembinaan yang diberikan oleh pihak lembaga pemasyarakatan.

ABSTRACT
This paper is made to reveal what lies behind the phenomenon of implementation in providing the rights of education for inmates in correctional instituons. This phenomenon is explained by three theories, the first is, social justice theory. Second is, social learning theory. And the las is, social control theory. The results of this paper shows that the implementation of undergraduate education in correctional institutions can provide a positive impact in the reintegration process for inmates who have followed the educational process which is provided by the penitentiary.
