"‘Michael Field’ (1884–1914) was the pseudonym of two women, theaunt and niece Katharine Bradley and Edith Cooper, who lived andwrote together as lovers. The large oeuvre contains poems, dramasand a vast diary. Marion Thain recounts the development of afascinating and idiosyncratic poetic persona that, she argues, itselfbecame a self-reflexive study in aestheticism. The constructed lifeand work of ‘Michael Field’ is used here to deepen and complicateour understanding of many of the most distinctive aesthetic debatesof the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries; a process unifiedby the recurring engagement with theories of time and history thatstructures this book. Film Lost inLove merupakan contoh baik dari bagaimana orang mixed race merepresentasikan bagaimanakeindahan fisik ideal di Indonesia itu seharusnya. Film yang bertajuk drama cinta inidibintangi oleh 3 aktor yang semuanya berketurunan Eropa atau biasa disebut ?Indo?. Pisauanalisa utama dalam penelitian ini adalah teori mengenai hiperrealitas dari Jean Baudrillarddan teori mengenai aestetik dari Immanuel Kant. Metode yang digunakan adalahdekonstruksi yang biasanya digunakan dalam menganalisa post-strukturalisme dalam karyasastra. Penggunaan aktor-aktor Indo dalam film Lost in Love tidak jauh-jauh darikomodifikasi yang biasanya dilakukan dalam industri perfilman dan untuk ke depannya,aktor-aktor berdarah Indo sepertinya akan kerap mewarnai industri perfilman dan hiburansecara umum di tanah air karena selain wujud fisik yang menawan, permintaan akan merekatetap banyak.ABSTRACT In Indonesia, people of mixed race ancestry who are usually called ?Indo? are usally looked
