Abstrak :
Perkembangan suatu wilayah terjadi dikarenakan pengaruh dari beberapa faktor, diantaranya kondisi geografis, ketersediaan sarana dan prasarana, demografi penduduk, jarak dengan pusat kota, aksesibilitas, kondisi iklim, dan sumber daya alam (Supriyatin, 2020). Proses pembangunan perkembangan wilayah sangat berkaitan dengan urbanisasi, seiring dengan pertambahan penduduk, kebutuhan lahan terus meningkat, pro ses pembangunan tersebut akan mempengaruhi wilayah terdekatnya yang biasa bercirikan pedesaan (Kurnianingsih, 2013). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi pola keruangan dari karakteristik wilayah yang terbentuk di Kecamatan Cugenang, Kabupaten Cianjur dan keterkaitannya dengan nilai ekonomi pertanian lahan kering. Sehingga digunakan 5 (lima) variabel, yakni hutan, lahan pertanian, lahan terbangun, ketinggian, dan nilai ekonomi lahan. Penelitian dilakukan secara kuantitatif menggunakan 35 sampel d ata dengan melakukan wawancara terhadap responden yakni petani dan validasi lapangan. Digunakan sistem grid dengan luas 200 × 200 meter atau terdapat 2.049 grid untuk mengidentifikasi karakteristik wilayah. Pola keruangan karakteristik wilayah ditinjau berdasarkan ketinggian dan uji anova digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi kerterkaitan dari karakteristik wilayah dengan nilai ekonomi lahan kering. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa Kecamatan Cugenang memiliki pola keruangan berdasarkan karakteristik wilayah yang semakin tinggi tingkat urbannya maka semakin rendah wilayah ketinggiannya dan pada keterkaitan antara karakteristik wilayah dan nilai ekonomi lahan kering pertanian menunjukan perbedaan rata-rata nilai ekonomi lahan kering pada ketiga tingkat karakteristik wilayah. ......The development of an area occurs due to the influence of several factors, including geographical conditions, availability of facilities and infrastructure, population demographics, distance from the city center, accessibility, climatic conditions, and natural resources (Supriyatin, 2020). The development process of regional development is closely related to urbanization, along with population growth, the need for land continues to increase, and the development process will affect the nearest area which is usually characterized as rural areas (Kurnianingsih, 2013). This study aims to identify the spatial pattern of regional characteristic formed in Cugenang District, Cianjur Regency, and its relationship to the economic value of dryland agriculture. 5 (five) variables are used, namely forest, agricultural land, built-up land, altitude, and the economic value of the land. The research was conducted quantitatively using 35 data samples by conducting interviews with respondents, namely farmers and field validation. A grid system with an area of 200 × 200 meters is used, so it makes 2,049 grids to identify the level of urban area. The spatial pattern of regional characteristic is reviewed based on altitude and the ANOVA test is used to identify the relationship between urban areas and the economic value of dryland. The results showed that the District of Cugenang has a spatial pattern of regional characteristic where the higher the level of urban area the lower the altitude area will be, and the relationship between the level of regional characteristic and the economic value of dryland agriculture shows the difference in the average economic value of dryland at the three levels of regional characteristic.

Abstrak :
This book presents a comprehensive description of the hydrogeology and hydrologic processes at work in arid lands. It describes the techniques that can be used to assess and manage the water resources of these areas with an emphasis on groundwater resources, including recent advances in hydrologic evaluation and the differences between how aquifer systems behave in arid lands versus more humid areas. Also, changing climatic conditions will force water management systems to be more robust so that future water supply demands can be met as droughts become more intense and rainfall events become more intense.

ABSTRAK
Penggunaan tanah Daerah Aliran DA Ci Leungsi hulu yang terdapat diKabupaten Bogor Jawa Barat selalu mengalami perkembangan dari tahun ketahun disebabkan oleh meningkatnya aktivitas manusia yang berdampak padaterjadinya degradasi lahan seperti erosi. Erosi tanah di Pulau Jawa diperkirakanmenelan kerugian US 400 juta per tahun. Penelitian ini bertujuan untukmengestimasi laju erosi dengan menggunakan persamaan Modify Universal SoilLoss Equation MUSLE yang sudah terintegrasi pada pemodelan Soil and WaterAssessment Tool SWAT . SWAT dapat memberikan hasil simulasi yang berbasispada karakteristik fisik daerah berupa Unit Respon Hidrologi URH yangmempertimbangkan parameter iklim seperti curah hujan, suhu, radiasi matahari,kelembaban dan kecepatan angin. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa laju erositertinggi pada wilayah hulu sub-DAS 15 Ci Janggel dengan kontribusi erosi 184ton/ha/tahun atau termasuk dalam klasifikasi erosi berat. Sedangkan rata-rata lajuerosi pada daerah penelitian termasuk ke dalam klasifikasi erosi sedang.Tingginya laju erosi terjadi pada karakteristik daerah dengan kemiringan lereng25-45 , jenis tanah clay loam, dan penggunaan tanah pertanian lahan kering.Hubungan karakteristik fisik DAS dan laju erosi ditunjukkan dengan semakinheterogen nilai URH di sub-DAS maka nilai laju erosinya cenderung semakinrendahKata Kunci: DAS, Laju Erosi, Karakteristik fisik DAS ,Pemodelan, SWAT
ABSTRACT
Land use of upper watersheds Cileungsi located in Bogor, West Java has alwaysprogressing from year to year due to increased human activities that have animpact on land degradation such as erosion. Soil erosion in Java estimated loss ofUS 400 million per year. This study aim to estimate of erosion rate by using theModify Universal Soil Loss Equation MUSLE is already integrated in themodeling Soil and Water Assessment Tool SWAT . SWAT can providesimulation results based on the physical characteristics of the HydrologicalResponse Unit HRU is considering climate parameters such as rainfall,temperature, solar radiation, humidity and wind speed. The results showed that thehighest rate of erosion on the upstream sub basin 15 Ci Janggel to contribute toerosion 184 tonnes ha year or included in the classification of heavy erosion.While the average rate of erosion in areas including research into the classificationof medium erosion.
