Abstrak :
This book presents a new approach to analyzing initial-boundary value problems for integrable partial differential equations (PDEs) in two dimensions, a method that the author first introduced in 1997 and which is based on ideas of the inverse scattering transform. This method is unique in also yielding novel integral representations for the explicit solution of linear boundary value problems, which include such classical problems as the heat equation on a finite interval and the Helmholtz equation in the interior of an equilateral triangle.

Abstrak :
This book is designed to supplement standard texts and teaching material in the areas of differential equations in engineering such as in Electrical ,Mechanical and Biomedical engineering. Emphasis is placed on the Boundary Value Problems that are often met in these fields.This keeps the the spectrum of the book rather focussed .The book has basically emerged from the need in the authors lectures on “Advanced Numerical Methods in Biomedical Engineering” at Yeditepe University and it is aimed to assist the students in solving general and application specific problems in Science and Engineering at upper-undergraduate and graduate level.Majority of the problems given in this book are self-contained and have varying levels of difficulty to encourage the student. Problems that deal with MATLAB simulations are particularly intended to guide the student to understand the nature and demystify theoretical aspects of these problems. Relevant references are included at the end of each chapter. Here one will also find large number of software that supplements this book in the form of MATLAB script (.m files). The name of the files used for the solution of a problem are indicated at the end of each corresponding problem statement. There are also some exercises left to students as homework assignments in the book. An outstanding feature of the book is the large number and variety of the solved problems that are included in it. Some of these problems can be found relatively simple, while others are more challenging and used for research projects. All solutions to the problems and script files included in the book have been tested using recent MATLAB software. The features and the content of this book will be most useful to the students studying in Engineering fields, at different levels of their education (upper undergraduate-graduate).

Abstrak :
Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah mengevaluasi penerapan boundary system dalam upaya hubungan business to business (B2B) yang lebih baik dari perusahaan retail PT. X kepada pemasok yang menyesuaikan dengan konsep levers of control dengan dukungan program compliance yang ada diperusahaan. Di dalam levers of control, boundary system adalah strategi pengendalian untuk mengetahui posisi kompetitif perusahaan. PT. X adalah perusahaan retail grocery yang beroperasi di Indonesia yang terus mengalami penurunan nilai pendapatan atas anggaran dukungan promosi dari pemasok sepanjang 2019-2022. Setelah ditelusuri hal tersebut dipicu oleh menurunnya kepercayaan dari pemasok terkait implementasi perjanjian kerjasama yang dilakukan, diantaranya keterlambatan pembayaran pembelian produk dan tagihan promosi yang tidak dimintai persetujuan pemasok sebelum implementasi promosi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metodologi kualitatif, yang dirancang dalam sebuah studi kasus intensif yang melibatkan beberapa metode pengumpulan dan analisis data termasuk wawancara, observasi lapangan dan analisis dokumen. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan ketidakefektifan boundary system pada dukungan manajemen dalam pelaksanaan boundary system, penerapan business conduct boundary, dan penerapan peraturan pemerintah meskipun program compliance yang ada diperusahaan PT.X sudah efektif sehingga menyebabkan tidak tercapainya dimensi utama kesuksesan kolaborasi pada hubungan bisnis dengan pemasok. ......The purpose of this research is to evaluate the implementation of the boundary system in an effort to better business to business (B2B) relations than the retail company PT. X to suppliers who conform to the concept of levers of control with the support of existing compliance programs in the company. Within the levers of control, the boundary system is a control strategy to determine the company's competitive position. This study used a qualitative methodology, which was designed as an intensive case study involving several methods of data collection and analysis including interviews, field observations and document analysis. The results of this study indicate the ineffectiveness of the boundary system in management support in the implementation of the boundary system, the application of business conduct boundaries, and the implementation of government regulations even though the compliance program in the PT. X company has been effective, causing the main dimensions of successful collaboration in business relations with suppliers to not be achieved.

Abstrak :
Penelitian ini menganalisis bagaimana fungsi boundary spanning pada humas sebagai organ dalam KPEI sebagai salah satu Organisasi Regulator Mandiri Pasar Modal Indonesia dalam menepis informasi keliru serta intervensi eksternal dan memberikan pemahaman yang memadai tentang perusahaan kepada pihak eksternal. Adanya gap signifikan antara tingkat literasi keuangan publik terhadap investasi keuangan pasar modal yang masih rendah dengan inklusi layanan keuangan yang relatif tinggi menjadi salah satu penyebab masih adanya asymmetric information pada investasi pasar modal Indonesia. Hasil temuan menunjukkan bahwa secara keseluruhan humas telah memanfaatkan perangkat-perangkat komunikasi perusahaan dalam upaya menjaga keberlangsungan proses inti perusahaan sekaligus berperan dalam melakukan komunikasi edukasi dan sosialisasi pasar modal kepada publik untuk menciptakan kepercayaan dan kenyamanan pasar. Namun, dalam memenuhi ekspektasi pasar dan perkembangan teknologi dan minat investasi yang terus meningkat, telah disadari masih terdapat tantangan dalam melakukan komunikasi perusahaan secara efektif yang terus diupayakan melalui kegiatan dan inisiatif baik yang bersifat jangka pendek dan jangka panjang. ......This study analyzes how boundary spanning functions in public relations as an internal organ of KPEI, one of the Indonesian Capital Market Self Regulatory Organization in dismissing false information and external intervention, providing an adequate understanding of the company to external parties. The existence of a significant gap between the level of public financial literacy on financial investment in the capital market is still low and the inclusion of financial services that is relatively high is one of the causes of the asymmetric information in Indonesia's capital market investment. The findings show that overall public relation has utilized the company's communication tools in an effort to maintain the sustainability of the company's core processes as well as playing a role in communicating education and socialization of the capital market to the public to create market trust and market confidence. However, in keeping up with the market expectations and technological developments also increasing investment interest, it has been realized that there are still challenges in carrying out effective corporate communication which are continuously pursued through activities and initiatives, both short-term and long-term.

Abstrak :
Skripsi ini menganalisis penyebab dari kegagalan keluarga politik Yasin Limpo untuk mempertahankan kekuasaan di Sulawesi Selatan 2018. Penelitian ini menggunakan kerangka analisis boundary control Edward Gibson, sebagai teori utama, dan dilengkapi dengan analisis otonomi elit dari Eva Etzony Halevy. Menggunakan metode kualitatif, hasil penelitian ini memperlihatkan bahwa ada tiga faktor yang menyebabkan kegagalan keluarga politik Yasin Limpo dalam pemilihan kepala daerah Sulawesi Selatan 2018. Pertama, melemahnya kontrol politik dari keluarga Yasin Limpo yang disebabkan oleh gagalnya strategi boundary strengthening mereka. Kedua, adanya strategi boundary opening yang berhasil melemahkan kekuatan keluarga Yasin Limpo. Ketiga, seiring dengan keberhasilan boundary opening, intensitas kompetisi antar elit di pilkada meningkat karena terjadi distribusi sumber daya antara elit elit.

This thesis analyzes the causes of Yasin Limpo's political family failure to maintain power through the South Sulawesi Regional Head Election 2018. This study uses Edward Gibsons Boundary Control analysis framework, as the main theory, and is equipped with elite autonomy analysis from Eva Etzony Halevy. Using qualitative methods, the results of this study show that there are three factors that led to Yasin Limpo's political family failure in the South Sulawesi regional elections in 2018. First, the weakening of political control of Yasin Limpo family caused by the failure of their boundary strengthening strategy. Secondly, there was a boundary opening strategy from challenger elites who managed to weaken Yasin Limpos political family power. Third, along with the success of the boundary opening, the intensity of competition among elites in regional election increased due to resources distribution between elites.
