"ABSTRAKRumah sakit berperan dalam menunjang keberhasilan menyusui melaluipelaksanaan inisiasi menyusu dini dan rawat gabung. Penelitian ini bertujuanmengidentifikasi perilaku menyusui pada ibu dengan persalinan normal dansectio caesaria selama dirawat gabung di RSUD Pasar Rebo. Penelitian inimerupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain deskriptif. Sampel penelitianadalah ibu nifas yang sudah dilakukan rawat gabung bersama bayinya denganjumlah 90 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukan seluruh ibu yang melahirkannormal, menyusui dengan memberi ASI saja, sedangkan ibu yang melahirkandengan operasi selain memberi ASI masih ada yang memberi tambahan susuformula. Saran untuk penelitian selanjutnya menggunakan desain korelasisehingga dapat diketahui perilaku menyusui dengan faktor yang berhubungan.

Abstract A hospital has an important role in supporting a succesful breasfeeding throughthe early initiation of breasfeeding and rooming in. This study aimed to identifythe breasfeeding behavior of mother with spontaneus and caesarean sectiondelivery while taken care at rooming-in unit Pasar Rebo District GeneralHospital. This research was a quantitative study with descriptive design. Theresearch samples were 90 rooming-in postpartum mothers. The result showed thatall mothers with normal delivery provided only breast milk, while most motherswith caesarean section delivery gave breast milk and few of them add formulamilk. It is suggested that the further research would use correlative design so thatthe factors that influence breastfeeding behavior during hospitalization could beidentified."

"ABSTRAKIbu yang memiliki anak pertama belum memiliki pengalaman menyusui. PemberianASI dipengaruhi oleh banyak faktor, salah satunya yaitu persepsi. Peneliti inginmengetahui pemberian ASI dan persepsi terhadap bentuk puting payudara pada ibuprimipara. Desain penelitian yang digunakan yaitu cross sectional dengan teknikpengambilan sampel purposive sampling. Jumlah responden yang diambil sebanyak48 responden di Kelurahan Kemiri Muka, Depok. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan52,1% memiliki persepsi positif terhadap bentuk puting payudara dan sebanyak85,4% ibu menyusui tidak eksklusif. Rekomendasi untuk penelitian selanjutnyaadalah mengidentifikasi hubungan persepsi bentuk puting payudara denganpemberian ASI pada ibu primipara.

Abstract Mothers who had their first child do not have the experience of breastfeeding.Breastfeeding is influenced by many factors, one of them is perception. The objectiveof this research is to find the perception of nipple shape and breastfeeding inprimipara mothers. The design used in this research was cross sectional withpurposive sample technique. The number of respondents is taken on as many as 48respondents in the Kemiri Muka, Depok. The results showed 52.1% had positiveperceptions of the breast and nipple shape while as much as 85.4% of mothers do notbreastfeed exclusively. Recommendation for future research is to identify therelationship between the perception of nipple shape and breastfeeding in primiparamothers."
