Abstrak :
Penelitian ini bertujuan mempelajari pengaruh ambidexterity kontekstual, kapasitas penyerapan pengetahuan, dan orientasi kewirausahaan dalam mendorong inovasi model bisnis yang pada akhirnya berpengaruh pada kinerja perusahaan. Data penelitian dari 74 rumah sakit yang tersebar di 9 provinsi dan 31 kota di Indonesia menunjukkan pengaruh yang kuat kapasitas penyerapan pengetahuan terhadap inovasi bisnis model serta pengaruh mediasinya pada hubungan kapasitas penyerapan pengetahuan terhadap kinerja perusahaan. Walaupun berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja perusahaan, orientasi kewirausahaan kurang kuat pengaruhnya terhadap inovasi bisnis model. Sementara ambideksterity kontekstual juga tidak mempengaruhi inovasi bisnis model. Implikasi manajerial disampaikan sebagai masukan rumah sakit untuk memperbaiki bisnis modelnya ......This research aims to study the influence of contextual ambidexterity, knowledge absorption capacity, and entrepreneurial orientation in encouraging business model innovation which ultimately affects company performance. The research data shows from 74 hospitals spread across 9 provinces and 31 cities in Indonesia a strong influence of knowledge absorption capacity on business model innovation and the influence of its mediation on the relationship of knowledge absorption capacity to company performance. Although it has a positive effect on company performance, entrepreneurial orientation has less strong influence on business model innovation. On the same occasion, contextual ambidexterity also does not affect business model innovation. The findings carry managerial implications that can be applied into hospital management to improve its business model.
