Abstrak :
TDI (toluene diiocyanate) serves as a hardener in the manufacture of composite propellant. The manufacture of TDI steps are long enough, one of which is the formation of toluene dicarbamate which will be decomposed to form TDI. To make toluene dicarbamate own needs an organic carbonate compound as the reactan. Then, the study of organic carbonates need to be done to choose the suitable one of the process and easy in manufacture and availability of the basic materials. Study results obtained the manufacture of organic carbonates (dimethyl carbonate) with the basic materials of methanol and urea. Reactions were carried out in autoclave reactor equipped with magnetic stirrer and reflux column to separate ammonia. Reaction run at T = 180ºC, with a catalyst of CaO-Carbon alloys.

Abstrak :
One of military rocket propellant main components is nitrocellulose. Nitrocellulose is made by nitration reaction with nitrating agent mixture of nitric acid and sulphuric. The most important Nitrocellulose quality is nitrogen content. Determination of nitrogen content by using of instrumentation is avoided because of explosive material. Therefore we looked for the appropriate method. We conducted a study of nitrogen content related with the properties. From these properties We can determine the nitrogen content. From some of methods used, we can take a precise data and so can substitute a test from instrumentation.

ABSTRAK
Material Carbon Fibre Reinforced Polymer (CFRP) merupakan bahan non-logam yang terbuat dari carbon fibre (serat karbon) dan mempunyai kekuatan tarik 2800 MPa sehingga apabila digunakan secara komposit pada struktur beton akan berperan dalam memberikan kekuatan tarik yang besar. Pada tesis ini akan diuraikan penelitian panjang penyaluran carbon fibre pada perkuatan struktur balok beton bertulang di daerah tumpuan, dalam hal ini perbaikan (Sikadur 31 & Sikadur 752) dan perkuatan (Sika Carbodur Plates & Sikadur 30) untuk struktur kantilever yang mengalami keruntuhan. Kajian pada penelitian ini difokuskan pada balok beton bertulang dengan penulangan lentur dan perkuatan balok beton bertulang dengan penulangan lentur tersebut yang dipasang CFRP dan CFRP+, serta CFRP dengan Plat pada daerah tarik/ atas. Kuat tekan beton yang digunakan berkisar 30 MPa, sedangkan pengujian pambebanan dilakukan dengan sistem monotonik. Hasil pengujian tersebut juga diverifikasi dengan hasil perhitungan secara teoritis sesuai dengan SNI 03-2847-2002. Hasil penelitian ini diantaranya menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan kekuatan secara signifikan pada balok kantilever yang dipasang CFRP dibanding dengan balok kantilever tanpa CFRP. Di samping itu, hasil penelitian ini juga diharapkan dapat menunjukkan sistem penempatan panjang penyaluran CFRP yang paling efektif dan efisien untuk perkuatan struktur kantilever balok beton bertulang yang mengalami keruntuhan.
ABSTRACT
Carbon Fibre Reinforced Polymer (CFRP) is a non-metal material made of carbon fibre and has a tensile strength of 2800 Mpa, so when used in the composite concrete structure will play a role in providing a large tensile strength. In this thesis, a research on carbon fibre development length of a concrete beam reinforcement in the support areas is described, in this case the repair (Sikadur 31 & Sikadur 752) and cultivation (Sika Carbodur Plates & Sikadur 30) of a collapsed cantilever structure. The research is focused on the review of the concrete beams with flexural reinforce and its reinforcement which has been installed with CFRP, CFRP+, as well as with CFRP plate in the tensile/ top region. The research is using a compressive strength of concrete around 30 MPa, while the assessment is done by monotonic system. The test results are verified by the results of calculation theoretically in accordance with the SNI 03-2847- 2002. The results of this research indicate that there is a significant increasing of strength on the cantilever beam which has been installed with CFRP compared to the one without CFRP. The result of this research is also intended to show the most effective and efficient placement system of CFRP development length for a collapsed reinforced concrete beam cantilever.
