"Tugas akhir ini membahas tentang Pakaian Khas Masa Cleopatra yaitu Kalasiris. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif analisis dengan teknik penelitian berupa studi pustaka dengan metode mencari referensi menggunakan sumber-sumber sejarah. Dalam penelitian ini dapat diketahui bahwa pakaian merupakan kebutuhan pokok bagi seluruh manusia di seluruh dunia. Pakaian menjadi bagian dari kebudayaan yang khas dari setiap negara. Tentunya setiap negara memiliki model berpakaian yang berbeda-beda. Pakaian khas Mesir Kuno memiliki daya tarik tersendiri karena bentuk dan aksennya yang menawan. Kalasiris merupakan sebuah pakaian dari Mesir Kuno dalam bentuk kemeja yang mirip dengan karung karena dipotong persegi. Kalasiris mulai populer pada 3000 SM. Pada Kalasiris terdapat pelengkap untuk memberi aksen dari Kalasiris tersebut. Pada perubahannya di masa Kerajaan Baru tidak begitu signifikan karena masyarakat Mesir masih memegang teguh kepercayaan lama. Sampai saat ini, meskipun Kalasiris tidak selalu dipakai sebagai pakaian sehari-hari, namun Kalasiris tetap eksis di dunia fashion sampai menjadi salah satu isnpirasi bagi perancang busana pada peragaan busana kelas internasional.

This final project is to discuss the typical Cleopatra's attire is Kalasiris. The research is a qualitative study using a descriptive method of analysis with a research technique of bibliography using historical sources. In this research, it can be seen that clothing is a basic need for all people the world over. The dress becomes part of the typical culture of each country. Of course, each country has a different dress model. The distinctive styles of ancient Egypt were of special interest because of their striking shape and accent. Kalasiris is a garment from ancient Egypt in the shape of a shirt similar to the sack because it is square cut. Kalasiris gained popularity in 3000 BC. On kalasiris there is a complement to giving the accent of the kalasiris. At its transformation during the new kingdom was not so significant because the Egyptian people were still clinging to the old faith. Until now, although kalasiris does not always wear fashion, it continues to exist in the fashion world until it is one of the inspirations for fashion designers at the international fashion show."

These contradictory features have led to famously divided critical responses."
