"Penelitian mengenai pembakaran telah mengalami perkembangan yang pesat di segala bidang. Penelitian yang akan dilakukan adalah pada arah menjaga kestabilan nyala api jauh dari ujung burner dengan memasang ring. Salah satu parameter yang diamati adalah temperatur ringnya yang diukur menggunakan infra red thermometer. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui besarnya temperatur yang terukur pada ring keramik maupun ring stainless steel pada saat fenomena flame lift-up terjadi. Parameter yang divariasikan pada penelitian ini adalah jarak ring dengan mulut tabung pembakar.
Dari penelitian ini didapatkan hasil bahwa pada jarak ring yang sama atau tetap, semakin tinggi nilai burning load maka temperatur ring juga ikut meningkat. Selain itu juga dapat diketahui bahwa temperatur ring stainless steel lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan temperatur ring keramik .Namun panjang nyala api pada ring stainless steel lebih pendek dibandingkan dengan panjang nyala api pada ring stainless steel pada saat fenomena flame lift-up terjadi.

Research on burning has had a rapid development in all sectors. Research will be done is to maintain stability in the direction away from the flame to the burner tip install ring. One of the observed is the ring temperature measured using infra red thermometer. Goal of this research is to understand the magnitude of temperature measured on the ring ceramics and stainless steel ring at the time phenomenon flame lift-up occurred. Parameters varied in this research is the distance to the mouth tube ring burner.
From the results of this research found that the ring on the distance or remain the same, the higher the value of the load burning ring temperature also increases. It also can note that the stainless steel ring temperature higher than the temperature ceramic ring. But the length of the flame on the stainless steel ring shorter than the length of the flame on the stainless steel ring at the time phenomenon flame lift-up occurred."
