"Para awardee program IISMA yang diharuskan untuk menjalani perkuliahan selama satu semester di host university sangat mungkin mengalami berbagai tantangan akademik yang berpotensi memunculkan kegagalan sehingga dibutuhkan kemampuan resiliensi akademik yang baik agar awardees dapat bangkit dan menunjukkan performa yang maksimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan antara self-compassion dan resiliensi akademik dengan perceived social support sebagai moderator. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan menyebarkan kuesioner daring yang berisi tiga alat ukur (ARS-Indonesia, Self-compassion Scale (SCS), dan The Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support (MSPSS)) kepada awardees program IISMA batch 1 dan 2. Hasil analisis data pada 157 partisipan menunjukkan bahwa terdapat korelasi positif yang signifikan antara self-compassion dan resiliensi akademik (r = .646 (p < .001) serta antara perceived social support dan resiliensi akademik (r = .311 (p < .001). Akan tetapi, perceived social support tidak dapat memoderatori hubungan antara self-compassion dan resiliensi akademik F(3,153) = 37.4749 p > .05. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi acuan dalam mengevaluasi program IISMA khususnya dari segi psikologis para awardee saat berada di host country.

IISMA awardees who are required to attend lectures for one semester at the host university may encounter a variety of academic difficulties that could lead to failure. Therefore, awardees need strong academic resilience skills to overcome these difficulties in order to perform well. The aim of this study is to look at the relationship between self-compassion and academic resilience with perceived social support as the moderator. The study was conducted online by giving out questionnaires that include three measurement tools (ARS-Indonesia, Self-compassion Scale (SCS), The Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support (MSPSS) to IISMA alumni from batch 1 and 2. The result from data analysis on 157 participants showed a positive significant correlation between self-compassion and academic resilience (r = .646 (p < .001) as well as between perceived social support and academic resilience (r = .311 (p < .001) ) However, perceived social support cannot moderate the relationship between self-compassion and academic resilience F(3,153) = 37.4749 p > .05. This study is expected to be useful as a reference in evaluating the IISMA program, specifically in terms of the psychological factors of the awardees during the study program in the host country."

"Guru di sekolah dasar (SD) inklusif menghadapi beragam tantangan yang dapat berdampak pada penurunan performa guru dalam mengajar, termasuk perilaku mengembangkan kreativitas pada siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara self-compassion guru SD inklusif dengan creativity fostering teacher behavior (CFTB). Penelitian yang melibatkan 143 partisipan guru ini menggunakan alat ukur CFTIndex untuk mengukur CFTB dan SWD untuk mengukur self-compassion . Hasil penelitian menggunakan Spearman’s rho menunjukkan ada hubungan yang signifikan antara self-compassion dan CFTB pada guru SD inklusif. Di sisi lain, dimensi self-kindness, self-judgment, common humanity, mindfulness , dan overidentification berhubungan secara signifikan dengan CFTB. Namun, hubungan yang tidak signifikan ditemukan pada dimensi isolation dan CFTB. Implikasi hasil penelitian ini adalah dapat menjadi pijakan bagi penelitian selanjutnya yang serupa dan meningkatkan kesadaran bagi pihak sekolah serta guru SD inklusif akan pentingnya self-compassion dalam pelaksanaan CFTB.

Playing the role of a teacher in an inclusive elementary school does not rule out the possibility of facing challenges that can impact teacher performance in teaching, including fostering student’s creativity. This study aims to determine the relationship between self-compassion and creativity fostering teacher behavior (CFTB) in inclusive elementary school teachers. This study involved 143 participating class teachers and subject teachers at inclusive primary schools with at least 1 year of teaching experience. The instruments used are CFTIndex to measure CFTB  and SWD to measure self-compassion. The results of the study using Spearman's rho showed that there was a significant relationship between self-compassion and CFTB in inclusive elementary school teachers. In addition, the dimensions of self-kindness, self-judgment, common humanity, mindfulness, and overidentification are significantly related to CFTB. However, no significant relationship was found in the dimension of isolation and CFTB. The implication of the results of this study is that it can become a basis for further similar research and increase awareness for schools and inclusive elementary school teachers of the importance of self-compassion in the implementation of CFTB."

"Guru sekolah inklusif lebih rentan mengalami stres terkait pekerjaan, yang dapat menyebabkan kelelahan pada guru. Kelelahan tidak hanya berdampak negatif pada kinerja guru, tetapi juga prestasi akademik dan sosial siswa. Studi populasi lain menganjurkan welas asih untuk mencegah kelelahan. Studi ini menguji korelasi antara welas asih dan kelelahan pada guru sekolah dasar (SD) inklusif menggunakan Skala Welas Asih (SCS; Neff, 2003) dan Survei Maslach Burnout Inventory-Educators (MBI-ES; Maslach, Jackson, & Leiter, 1996). ). Pesertanya adalah guru kelas dan guru pendamping khusus (N = 170) di sekolah dasar inklusi di Jakarta Selatan, Bogor, Depok, dan Cimahi. Sesuai dengan hipotesis, skor belas kasihan diri memiliki hubungan yang signifikan dengan dimensi burnout yaitu hubungan negatif dengan kelelahan emosional dan depersonalisasi, serta hubungan positif dengan prestasi pribadi. Hasil penelitian ini didukung oleh hubungan antara dimensi welas asih dengan dimensi burnout. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa belas kasihan dapat melindungi diri dari kelelahan pada guru sekolah dasar inklusif. Batasan penelitian ini dan saran untuk penelitian selanjutnya dibahas lebih lanjut.

Inclusive school teachers are more prone to experience work-related stress, which can lead to teacher fatigue. Fatigue not only negatively impacts teacher performance, but also student academic and social performance. Another population study advocates compassion for preventing fatigue. This study examined the correlation between compassion and fatigue in inclusive primary (SD) teachers using the Compassion Scale (SCS; Neff, 2003) and the Maslach Burnout Inventory-Educators Survey (MBI-ES; Maslach, Jackson, & Leiter, 1996). ). The participants were classroom teachers and special companion teachers (N = 170) in inclusive elementary schools in South Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, and Cimahi. In accordance with the hypothesis, self-compassion scores have a significant relationship with the burnout dimension, namely a negative relationship with emotional exhaustion and depersonalization, and a positive relationship with personal achievement. The results of this study are supported by the relationship between the compassionate dimension and the burnout dimension. The findings suggest that compassion can protect against burnout in inclusive primary school teachers. The limitations of this study and suggestions for future research are discussed further."

"Salah satu jenis kekerasan dengan kasus yang meningkat setiap tahunnya adalah kekerasan dalam berpacaran. Pengalaman buruk masa kecil diketahui menjadi salah satu faktor risiko dari kekerasan dalam berpacaran. Namun, terdapat faktor lain yang diduga dapat memoderasi hubungan antara pengalaman buruk masa kecil dan kekerasan dalam berpacaran, yaitu self-compassion. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui peran self-compassion sebagai moderator antara pengalaman buruk masa kecil dan kekerasan dalam berpacaran dari sudut pandang korban. Partisipan berjumlah 102 dewasa awal (77.5% perempuan, M usia = 21.9, SD = 2.012) yang sedang berada dalam hubungan berpacaran selama minimal satu tahun. Pengalaman buruk masa kecil diukur menggunakan Childhood Trauma Questionnaire Short Form (CTQ-SF), kekerasan dalam berpacaran diukur menggunakan The Revised Conflict Tactics Scale Short Form (CTS2-SF), dan self-compassion diukur menggunakan Self-Compassion Scale (SCS). Berdasarkan analisis moderasi menggunakan PROCESS Macro, ditemukan bahwa pengalaman buruk masa kecil memprediksi kekerasan dalam berpacaran secara signifikan (b = -0.303, t(97) = -2.563, p < 0.05) dan self-compassion memoderasi hubungan keduanya secara signifikan (b = 0.091, t(97) = 2.728,p < 0.05). Selain itu ditemukan pula bahwa self-compassion secara mandiri memprediksi kekerasan dalam berpacaran secara signifikan (b = -1.577, t (97) = -2.201, p < 0.05). Demikian, penelitian ini menunjukkan pentingnya peran self-compassion sebagai faktor protektif dari kekerasan dalam berpacaran.

Dating violence cases increase every year. Adverse childhood experiences is known to be one factor that causes dating violence. However, there is another factor that might moderate the correlation between adverse childhood experiences and dating violence: self-compassion. This study aims to determine the role of self-compassion as a moderator between adverse childhood experiences and dating violence from the victim's perspective. There were 102 emerging adults (77.5% female, M age = 21.9, SD = 2.012) in a dating relationship for at least one year as participants. Adverse childhood experiences was measured using the Childhood Trauma Questionnaire Short Form (CTQ-SF), dating violence was measured using The Revised Conflict Tactics Scale Short Form (CTS2-SF), and self-compassion was measured using the Self-Compassion Scale (SCS). Based on moderation analysis using PROCESS Macro, the result shows that adverse childhood experiences significantly predicted dating violence (b = -0.303, t(97) = -2.563, p < 0.05) and self-compassion significantly moderated the correlation between the two (b = 0.091, t(97) = 2.728, p < 0.05). "ABSTRAK
Masa transisi dari SMA ke perguruan tinggi dapat menyebabkan tekanan bagi mahasiswa Gall, Evans, Bellerose, 2000. Karena itu, dibutuhkan adanya proses penyesuaian diri yang dinamakan college adjustment. Tekanan tersebut dapat membuat mahasiswa kesulitan beradaptasi dan dapat menimbulkan efek samping seperti stres atau depresi. Masalah pada college adjustment penting karena berkaitan dengan antara lain masalah akademis dan tingkat putus studi Backhaus, 2009. Self-compassion dapat mengurangi dampak negatif dari tekanan tersebut sehingga memudahkan proses penyesuaian diri Terry, Leary, Mehta, 2013. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan antara self-compassion dengan college adjustment pada mahasiswa tahun pertama. Pengukuran self-compassion menggunakan adaptasi alat ukur Self-Compassion Scale yang disusun oleh Neff 2003b dan pengukuran college adjustment menggunakan adaptasi alat ukur Student Adaptation to College Questionnaire yang disusun oleh Baker dan Siryk 1984. Partisipan penelitian ini berjumlah 373 mahasiswa tahun pertama Universitas Indonesia. Dengan metode statistik Pearson Product-Moment Correlation, hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada hubungan signifikan antara self-compassion dan college adjustment pada mahasiswa tahun pertama r = .076, p = .142.

ABSTRACT
The transition period from high school to university may generate pressure towards students Gall, Evans, Bellerose, 2000 . Therefore, a form of adaptation is needed, which is called college adjustment. The pressure may cause students to adapt poorly and may cause side effects such as stress and depression. College adjustment problems are important because they relate with academic problems and drop out rate Backhaus, 2009. Self compassion may act as a buffer towards negative effects from that pressure and made the adaptation process easier Terry, Leary, Mehta, 2013. In this study, Self compassion was measured using an adaptation form of Self Compassion Scale by Neff 2003b, and college adjustment was measured using an adaptation form of Student Adaptation to College Questionnaire by Baker and Siryk 1984. The participants of this study were 373 first year college students of University of Indonesia. Using Pearson Product Moment Correlation method, main results of this study showed self compassion was not significantly related with college adjustment r .076, p .142 on first year college students."

"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah self-compassion memediasi hubungan antara perceived social support dengan gejala depresi. Menimbang hasil penelitian bahwa gangguan psikologis terutama depresi paling rentan dialami oleh individu usia 18 hingga 25 tahun, maka gejala depresi penting untuk diperhatikan pada periode emerging adulthood. Desain penelitian ini yaitu korelasional. Jumlah partisipan 803 partisipan usia 18 hingga 25 tahun, dengan ketentuan belum menikah dan belum mempunyai anak. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support (MPSS), General Health Questionnaire-1 2 (GHQ-12), dan Self-Compassion Scale-Short Form (SCS-SF). Hasil pengujian statistik membuktikan bahwa self-compassion memediasi secara parsial hubungan antara perceived social support dan gejala depresi, dengan indirect effect(β = - .067, p = 0.0000) dan direct effect(β = - .081, p = 0.0000) yang signifikan. Hasil analisis mediasi menunjukan perceived social support dapat langsung melewati gejala depresi atau melewati self-compassion terlebih dahulu. Individu yang mempersepsi mendapatkan perceived social support yang tinggi, akan merasa dirinya berharga dan berusaha menoleransi kondisi sulit yang dialami, sehingga memunculkan pemberian kebaikan pada diri sendiri dan mengurangi gejala depresi.

This study aims to determine whether self-compassion mediates the relationship between perceived social support and depressive symptoms. Considering the results under study that psychological disorders, especially depression, are the most susceptible to individuals aged 18 to 25 years, whose symptoms of depression are important to pay attention to what appears. The design of this study is correlational. Number of participants 803 participants aged 18 to 25 years, provided that they were single and had no children. The instrument in this study is Multidimensional Scale of Social Perception Support (MPSS), Public Health Questionnaire-12 (GHQ-12), and Self-Compassion Scale-Short Form (SCSSF). Statistical test results have shown that self-compassion partially mediates the relationship between perceived social support and depressive symptoms, with significant indirect effects (β = - .067, p = 0.0000) and direct effects (β = - 081, p = 0.0000). The results of the mediation analysis show that perceived social support can directly influence depressive symptoms or affect self-compliance = first. Emerging adults who feel they have high perceived social support, will feel themselves worthy and try to tolerate difficult conditions that are experienced, thus providing good for themselves and reducing symptoms of depression."

"Pengalaman membesarkan anak dan merawat orang tua dalam satu waktu yang dialami generasi sandwich menuntut untuk menjalankan dua perannya dengan seimbang. Tanggung jawab ini tidak terlepas dari berbagai macam tantangan yang rentan mengganggu kesejahteraan subjektif individu. Welas asih diri diduga dapat berkaitan dengan kesejahteraan subjektif individu. Penelitian dilakukan menggunakan desain korelasional kepada 130 dewasa madya dengan rentang usia 35-60 tahun yang merawat serta mengasuh anak dan orang tua. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah melihat adanya hubungan antara welas asih diri dan kesejahteraan subjektif pada generasi sandwich. Alat ukur yag digunakan adalah Skala Kesejahteraan Subjektif dan Self-Compassion Scale Short Form (SCS-SF). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa welas asih diri secara signifikan berkorelasi positif dengan kesejahteraan subjektif pada generasi sandwich. Hal ini mengimplikasikan welas asih diri dapat menjadi intervensi untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan subjektif pada generasi sandwich.

The experience of raising children and caring for parents at the same time experienced by the sandwich generation demanded that they carry out their two roles in a balanced way. This responsibility is inseparable from various kinds of challenges that are prone to disrupting individual subjective well-being. Self-compassion is thought to be related to individual subjective well-being. The study was conducted using a correlational design with 130 middle adults aged around 35-60 years who cared for their parents and children simultaneously. The purpose of this study was to see a relationship between self-compassion and subjective well-being in the sandwich generation. The measuring tools used are Skala Kesejahteraan Subjektif and Self-Compassion Scale Short Form (SCS-SF). The result showed that self-compassion was positively significant correlated with subjective well-being in sandwich generation. This implies self-compassion can be an intervention to improve subjective well-being in sandwich generation."

"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara self-compassion dan kecemasan pada dewasa muda yang mengalami perceraian kedua orang tua. Total partisipan berjumlah 66 orang dan merupakan dewasa muda pada rentang usia 18-25 tahun. Self-compassion diukur menggunakan Self-Compassion Scale-Short Form (SCS-SF), sedangkan diukur menggunakan State-Trait anxiety Inventory Skala Trait (STAI-T). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan negatif yang signifikan antara self-compassion dengan kecemasan pada dewasa muda yang mengalami perceraian kedua orang tua. Kemudian ditemukan juga kecemasan yang lebih tinggi pada partisipan yang telah menempuh pendidikan S1 atau Diploma dibandingkan dengan partisipan yang baru menempuh pendidikan SMA sederajat.

This study aims to find out the relationship between self-compassion and editors on young adults
who experience divorce from both parents. The total number of participants was 66 people and young adults aged 18-25 years. Compassion is measured using the Self-Compassion Scale-Short Form (SCS-SF), while anxiety is measured using the State-Trait anxiety Inventory Trait Scale (STAI-T). The results showed that there was a significant negative relationship between selfcompassion and anxiety in young adults who experienced divorce from both parents.. Then it was also found that anxiety was higher in participants who had taken an undergraduate or diploma education compared to participants who had just taken high school education and equivalent.
