Abstrak :
This book presents the proceedings of the 14th International Conference on Computer Aided Engineering, collecting the best papers from the event, which was held in Wrocław, Poland in June 2018. It includes contributions from researchers in computer engineering addressing the applied science and development of the industry and offering up-to-date information on the development of the key technologies in technology transfer. It is divided into the following thematic sections: - parametric and concurrent design, - advanced numerical simulations of physical systems, - integration of CAD/CAE systems for machine design, - presentation of professional CAD and CAE systems, - presentation of the modern methods of machine testing, - presentation of practical CAD/CAM/CAE applications: - designing and manufacturing of machines and technical systems, - durability prediction, repairs and retrofitting of power equipment, - strength and thermodynamic analyses of power equipment, - design and calculation of various types of load-carrying structures, - numerical methods of dimensioning materials handling and long-distance transport equipment (cranes, gantries, automotive, rail, air, space and other special vehicles and earth-moving machinery), - CAE integration problems.

ABSTRAK
Metode Elemen Hingga FEM merupakan dasar dari program CAE Computer Aided Engineering dalam menganalisis struktur dengan cara melakukan diskretisasi dengan shape function Lagrange atau Hermitian. Analisis Isogeometrik IGA merupakan perkembangan dari FEM. Dengan menggunakan Non-Uniform Rational B-Splines NURBS sebagai basis function. NURBS, yang digunakan sebagai fungsi dasar dari program CAD Computer Aided Design , permodelan dapat dilakukan secara eksak. IGA menggabungkan CAE dengan CAD sehingga permodelan CAD bisa dianalisa dengan CAE. Karya tulis ini akan memanfaatkan MATLAB dalam mempelajari penggunaan metode collocation pada analisis isogeometrik untuk balok dan pelat berdasarkan pendekatan UI. Ouput yang dihasilkan dari tulisan ini berupa peralihan translasi dan gaya dalam. Selain itu juga dilakukan uji konvergensi untuk mengecek performa metode ini.
ABSTRACT
Finite Element Method FEM is a basis of CAE program Computer Aided Engineering in structural analysis with discretization of model either with Lagrange or Hermitian shape function. Isogeometric Analysis IGA is a development of FEM. By using Non Uniform Rational B Splines NURBS as a basis function. NURBS, which is used as a basis function of CAD program Computer Aided Design , could modelized the exact model. IGA is combining concept of CAE and CAD, so the structure in CAD can be modelized in CAE. This paper is studying of utilizing MATLAB for the collocation method in isogeometric analysis for beam and plate based on UI approach. The output of this study are including displacement and internal forces. Convergence test is also presented in this paper to check this method rsquo s performance.

ABSTRAK
Analsis Isogeometrik adalah pengembangan dari Metode Elemen Hingga MEH . Analisis Isogeometrik, tidak menggunakan fungsi polinomial seperti dalam MEH, namun menggunakan fungsi Non-Uniform Rational B-Splines NURBS yang dipakai pada program Computer Aided Design CAD . Diharapkan, gambar model dari CAD langsung dilakukan analisis struktur tanpa perlu dimodelkan ulang dalam program Computer Aided Engineering CAE . Dalam karya tulis ini, bahasan difokuskan dalam Analisis Isogeometrik menggunakan metode Galerkin pada balok dan pelat lentur dengan deformasi geser berdasarkan pendekatan UI. Pemrograman MATLAB dibuat agar dapat melakukan tes numerik dengan jumlah polinomial dan elemen yang cukup banyak, untuk mengetahui performa dari Analisis Isogeometrik.
ABSTRACT
Isogeometric Analysis is a development of Finite Element Method FEM . It doesn 39 t use classical polynomial function like FEM but using Non Uniform Rational B Splines NURBS function that used in Computer Aided Design CAD program. In the future, after drawing model with CAD, structural analysis can be done directly, without remodelling in Computer Aided Engineering CAE program. In this paper, we focus in Isogeometric Analysis using Galerkin Method for beam and bending plate with shear deformation based on UI approach. MATLAB programming is developed, so numerical test can be done with more number of polynomial and element to know performance of Isogeometric Analysis.

Kanker paru merupakan kanker yang paling banyak ditemukan dan paling mematikan di dunia. Penentuan stadium kanker paru umumnya dilakukan oleh dokter radiologi dengan melihat pembesaran kelenjar getah bening (KGB) mediastinal. KGB mediastinal cukup sulit dideteksi secara visual dikarenakan memiliki kontras yang rendah  terhadap jaringan di sekitarnya, ukuran dan bentuknya yang bervariasi, serta tersebar di berbagai lokasi. Oleh karena itu, akhir – akhir ini dikembangkan sistem computer-aided detection (CADe) sebagai alat bantu bagi dokter radiologi untuk mendeteksi KGB mediastinal secara otomatis. Metode terbaik saat ini dalam sistem CADe KGB mediastinal tersebut menggunakan 2D convolutional neural network (CNN) yang diterapkan dari 3 sudut pandang (axial, coronal, sagittal). Namun, sifat 3D dari KGB mediastinal dihipotesakan akan lebih terwakili jika menggunakan 3D CNN. Oleh karena itu, dalam penelitian ini digunakan 3D CNN yang kemudian diubah menjadi 3D fully convolutional network (FCN)  untuk mendeteksi kandidat KGB mediastinal di dalam suatu tumpukkan citra CT. Kandidat KGB mediastinal tersebut kemudian dianalisa untuk mengurangi false positive (FP) menggunakan 3 metode, yaitu perhitungan mean HU, deteksi kontur menyerupai lingkaran, dan klasifikasi menggunakan 3D CNN. Performa terbaik dari sistem CADe KGB mediastinal ini diperoleh ketika menggunakan 3D CNN dalam tahap pengurangan FP dengan sensitivitas 77% dan 12 FP/pasien.
Lung cancer is the most common and the deadliest cancer in the world. Lung cancer staging usually was done by radiologist by detecting mediastinal lymph node (LN) enlargement. Mediastinal LN is difficult to be detected visually due to its low contrast to the surrounding tissues, various size and shape, and sparse location. Therefore, computer-aided detection (CADe) system has been developed as a tool for radiologist to detect medistinal LN automatically. The state of the art mediastinal LN CADe system used 2D convolutional neural network (CNN) from 3 planar views (axial, coronal, sagittal). However, the 3D features of mediastinal LN are hypothesized to be more reprenseted if 3D CNN is used. Therefore, in this experiment we used 3D CNN which is converted to 3D fully convolutional network (FCN) to detect mediastinal LN candidate in a stack of CT images. Then, the mediastinal LN candidates were analyzed using 3 methods to reduce the false positive (FP), which are the calculation of the mean HU, the blob detection, and the classification using 3D CNN. The best performance of this CADe system was achieved when the 3D CNN was used in the FP reduction stage which has 77% of sensitivity and 12 FP/ patient.
