"Akhir ini membahas tentang Industri Pariwisata Dubai. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan desain deskriptif analitis. Dari penelitian ini penulis mengetahui bahwa Dubai beralih menggunakan sektor Industri Pariwisata sebagai tambahan pemasukan negara selain sektor migas. Hal ini dibuktikan dari besarnya pertumbuhan wisatawan yang bermalam di Dubai sehingga mendorong GDP dari devisa yang diterima Dubai. Kemudian, pemerintah Dubai mendukung hal tersebut dengan kebijakannya membentuk Dubai Tourism and Commerce Market yang telah melakukan berbagai upaya menarik wisatawan ke Dubai serta pembangunan infrastruktur penunjang seperti hotel dan apartemen. Di samping itu, tersedianya berbagai macam objek wisata yang ada di Dubai yaitu, objek wisata religi, konvensional, budaya, dan cagar alam. Dengan demikian, hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa potensi alam, kebudayaan, infrastruktur dan kebijakan pemerintah mendukung perkembangan industri pariwisata telah mempengaruhi pertumbuhan perekonomian Dubai.

This Final Project discusses the Dubai tourism industry. This research is a qualitative research with analytical descriptive design. From this research, the author learns about Dubai using the Tourism Industry sector as an additional state income besides the oil and gas sector. This is evidenced from the increased growth of tourists who spend the night in Dubai so that it encourages GDP from foreign exchange received by Dubai. Then, the Dubai government supported this by making its policy to form the Dubai Tourism and Commerce Market which has made various efforts to attract tourists to Dubai as well as the construction of supporting infrastructure such as hotels and apartments. In addition, the availability of various kinds of tourist objects in Dubai, namely, religious, conventional, cultural, and nature reserve. Thus, the results of this study discuss the natural potential, development, infrastructure, and policy. Dubai's economic growth."

"ABSTRAKDalam jurnal ini membahas tentang salah satu bangunan mewah yang juga merupakan menara tertinggi di dunia yaitu Burj Khalifa yang berada di kota Dubai, Uni Emirat Arab. Metode yang digunakan berupa kualitatif seperti studi pustaka dari buku-buku, jurnal, dan observasi melalui video di internet. Burj Khalifa yang berasal dari Bahasa Arab berarti ldquo;Menara Khalifa rdquo; yang sebelumnya bernama Burj Dubai ini tingginya mencapai 828 meter. Bangunan tertinggi di dunia ini merupakan hasil rancangan dari arsitek terkenal di dunia yaitu Adrian Smith. Konsep desain Burj Khalifa terinspirasi dari bunga Hymenocallis yang mempunyai puncak bunga yang tinggi dan dikelilingi oleh kelopak yang indah. Selain menjadi bangunan tertinggi di dunia, menara ini juga mendapat rekor lainnya berupa bangunan yang mempunyai lantai terbanyak yaitu 160 lantai dan lift tercepat dengan kecepatan 60 km/jam. Burj Khalifa tidak hanya menjadi gedung perkantoran, di dalam menara ini juga terdapat hotel dan apartemen serta fasilitas-fasilitas yang bertaraf internasional. Peresmian menara ini dilakukan oleh penguasa Dubai yaitu Syeikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Makhtoum pada tanggal 4 Januari 2010 yang dihadiri oleh 6.000 tamu undangan dan ditandai dengan pesta kembang api yang dramatis dan spektakuler. Menara ini tentu saja mendapat respon yang baik dari seluruh masyarakat di dunia, hal ini membuat banyak sekali pengunjung yang datang dari berbagai kalangan didunia.

ABSTRACTIn this paper discusses about one of the luxury building that is the highesht tower or skyscraper in the world, the named was called Burj Khalifa in Dubai, United Arab Emirates . The methodology used in the form of qualitative methods such as literature on the books, journals,and observations of the video on the internet. Burj Khalifa is derived from the Arabic that is ldquo Khalifa Tower rdquo the previously named is ldquo Burj Dubai rdquo , its height reaches 828 meters. This highest tower in the world is designed by renowned architect in the world, he is Adrian Smith. Burj Khalifa rsquo s concept design is inspired from Hymenocallis Flower, this flower have a peak high interest and surrounded by beautiful flower petals. This tower also got another records in the form of buildings that have the highest floors, there are 160 floors and the fastest elevators at speeds 60 km s. At Burj Khalifa not only office buildings, but there are also hotels and apartments as well as international standard facilities. Inauguration of this tower was carried out by the authorities of Dubai is Syeikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Makhtoum on 4th January 2010 which was attended by 6.000 guests and is characterized by a dramatic and spectacular fireworks. This tower has received a good response from all the people in the world, it makes a lot of visitors who come from all walks of life in the world."

"ABSTRAKNegara Dubai memiliki bangunan-bangunan modern di kawasan Timur Tengah yang tepatnya berada di kawasan Uni Emirat Arab. Saat ini Negara Dubai telah menjadi objek pariwisata turis mancanegara. Peradaban Dubai sangat maju ini banyak mengubah sudut pandang para turis mengenai kawasan Timur Tengah yang banyak mempertahankan bentuk bangunannya sejak peradaban kuno. Dubai, yang didominasi oleh bangunan modern, tentunya memiliki sejarah awal modernisasi bangunan-bangunan tersebut. Karya tulis ini membahas mengenai sejarah modernisasi bangunan di negara Dubai dan juga upaya pemerintah dalam pemeliharaan bangunan tradisional di negara tersebut.

ABSTRACT<>br>This paper discusses about modernization of Dubai rsquo s building. The method used in this research is literature review methods. The Emirate of Dubai has modern buildings in the Middle East region, precisely located in the United Arab Emirates. Currently, Dubai has became a great travel attraction of foreign tourists. This highly developed of Dubai civilization has greatly changed the tourist point of view about the Middle East region which has retained much of its buildings shape since ancient civilizations. Dubai, which is dominated by modern buildings, certainly has an early history of modernization of the buildings. This paper discusses the history of modernization of buildings in the emirate of Dubai and also government efforts to maintain the traditional buildings in the country."
