"Jurnal ini membahas tentang fenomena education fever yang terjadi di Korea Selatan dalam drama yang berjudul Hakkyo 2013. Dengan metode deskriptif-analitik, penulis memfokuskan analisa pada gambaran fenomena education fever yang terdapat dalam drama tersebut. Hasil analisa menunjukkan fenomena education fever dalam drama Hakkyo 2013 diwakili oleh sikap dan perilaku orang tua siswa yang menunjukkan peduli mereka yang berlebihan akan pendidikan anaknya. Mereka tidak segan melibatkan diri mereka sendiri untuk mengkritik sistem pendidikan di sekolah tempat anak mereka belajar. Sedangkan dampak yang signifikan terhadap kelelahan secara fisik yang dialami siswa karena jam belajar yang terlalu panjang, dan juga orientasi siswa terhadap nilai yang bagus sebagai tanda keberhasilan mereka dalam belajar.

This paper discusses about education fever phenomenon on Korean drama titled Hakkyo 2013. It focused on the analysis of the phenomenon as shown on the drama. The results shows that education fever on this drama is represented by the behavior of Korean parents who over concern about the education of their children. They even involve their selves directly to criticize the education system at their children’s school. On the other side, the phenomenon also gives such a significant impact to the students. It shows that the students feel exhausted because of the long hour."
