Tesis ini membahas tentang masalah menurunnya unjuk kerja pembangkit listrik tenaga gas suar bakar (gas flare) di lapangan migas Ripah, Tanjung Jabung. Analisis permasalahan secara terintegrasi dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode teknik termodinamika untuk mengetahui penyebab utama menurunnya unjuk kerja pembangkit listrik tersebut yang akan menjadi dasar untuk menentukan solusi yang tepat terhadap permasalahan tersebut. Metode analisis lain yang digunakan adalah kelayakan keuangan berdasarkan arus kas keuangan sehingga dapat diketahui layak atau tidaknya solusi tersebut apabila diimplementasikan. Dari hasil analisis tersebut akan dapat diketahui bahwa pemanfaatan gas suar bakar yang optimum untuk pembangkit listrik maupun pemanfaatan sebagai bahan bakar LPG.
......This thesis discusses the problem of declining performance of the flare gas power plant in oil and gas fields Ripah, Tanjung Jabung. Integrated analysis is done by using technical methods to determine the thermodynamic performance of the main cause of decline in the power plant that will be the basis for determining the appropriate solution to the problem. Another analytical method used is based on the financial feasibility of financial cash flows that can be known whether a solution is feasible or if it is implemented. From the results of the analysis will be known that the utilization of flared gas for electricity generation and optimum utilization of LPG as fuel.

Pembangunan PLTU memerlukan bahan bakar. Oleh karena itu, perlu dilakukan suatu analisa energi agar efisiensi penggunaan bahan bakar meningkat. Berkaitan dengan hal tersebut maka dalam penulisan skripsi ini akan dilakukan suatu analisa exergi pada penentuan konfigurasi Feedwater Heater yang digunakan pada sistem air-uap PLTU. Analisis dilakukan dengan menghitung besar efisiensi exergi dari tiap konfigurasi Feedwater Heater. Perhitungan exergi dari sistem dilakukan dengan menggunakan bantuan cycle tempo 5.0. Diharapkan hasil analisa exergi ini dapat digunakan sebagai informasi teknis dalam pembangunan proyek PLTU kelas 1 x 25 MW
......Due to the requirements of steam power plant construction which is going to spend a large amount of fuel and cost, energy and economy analysis are needed to improve the efficiency of fuel and total capital investment. Because of that, in this final assignment, exergy analysis will be used to choose feedwater heater configuration in water-steam system of steam power plant. The analysis will be done by calculating the amount of the efficient exergy from each of feedwater heater configuration. The calculation exergy of the system was done by using cycle tempo 5.0. The result of exergy are expected to be used as the technical information in contructing the 1 x 25 MW steam power plant.

This book presents a wealth of images of shock wave phenomena, gathered by the author over the past 40 years. Shadowgrams and interferograms of basic shock-dynamic topics such as reflection, diffraction, refraction, and focusing of shock waves in gases and liquids are sequentially displayed. Though the images themselves are self-explanatory, brief explanations of the experimental conditions are included, so as to facilitate analysis and numerical reproduction of the image data.
In addition, the book presents interferometric observations of underwater shock wave/bubble interactions, and highlights the multifaceted applications of shock wave phenomena to medicine and industry.
