"Two things that become world concern are energy crisis and environmental problem, Refrigerator isone of the causes of the problems either direct or indirect. Refrigerator uses electricity source that comesfront fossil fuel as indirect cause of energy crisis and environmental' problem which contributes to ozonedepletion and global warming by using the refrigerant. Therefore we need a solution that can answerthe problems. The solution is photovoltaic refrigerator .system with hydrocarbon refrigerant. This systemuses photovoltaic module connected to the inverter. The function of inverter is to convert i2 Volt DCelectric voltage from photovoltaic module into 220 Volt A C electric voltage, The refrigerant arehydrocarbon R-600a and HC-134 which charged at 20 bar pressure. The experiment shows that theinverter which suitable for refrigerator is pure sine wave inverter type and the alternative refrigerant isR-600a. Refrigerator with photovoltaic module can be used until 21.5 hours without charging."

"Kesadaran masyarakat Indonesia untuk bersimpati akan lingkungannya masih sangat rendah dan kian mengkhawatirkan. Kerusakan lingkungan yang terus terjadi menjadi ancaman besar bagi eksistensi manusia. Penelitian ini berfokus pada pembahasan mengenai bagaimana pragmatisme Richard Rorty menjadi tawaran lain dalam menjawab persoalan masalah lingkungan hidup. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kritik pragmatis yang didukung dengan kajian pustaka. Kajian diawali dengan menjelaskan orientasi epistemologi Barat yang menghasilkan empat aspek utama dalam pragmatisme Richard Rorty. Kemudian pragmatisme Rorty dan etika solidaritas-nya selanjutnya digunakan sebagai perspektif alternatif dalam pembahasan topik etika lingkungan dalam rangka menemukan solusi atau jalan keluar dari kebuntuan diskursif dalam perdebatan filsafat lingkungan fundamentalis dan mencari solusi praktis yang relevan dalam konteks masyarakat Indonesia. Dalam hal ini penulis menggunakan aksi Pandawara Group untuk menunjukkan manifestasi dari nilai teori solidaritas Richard Rorty dan juga untuk menguatkan kesimpulan penulis bahwa penekanan pada aspek praktikal yang mengakar pada pengalaman manusia sehari-hari atau realitas konkrit dalam konteks-konteks tertentu dapat menjadi solusi yang lebih efektif dalam meningkatkan kepekaan moral terhadap penderitaan orang lain.

The awareness of Indonesian to sympathize with their environment is still very low and increasingly worrying. Environmental degradation that continues to occur is a major threat to human existence. This research focuses on discussing how Richard Rorty's pragmatism becomes another offer in the problem of environmental problems. This research uses pragmatic criticism methods supported by literature review. The study begins by explaining the Western epistemological orientation which produces four main aspects in Richard Rorty's pragmatism. Then Rorty's pragmatism and his ethics of solidarity are further used as alternative perspectives in discussing the topic of environmental ethics in order to find solutions or a way out of the discursive deadlock in the debate on fundamentalist environmental philosophy and to seek practical solutions that are relevant in the context of Indonesian society. In this case, the author uses the actions of the Pandawara Group to demonstrate the manifestation of the values of Richard Rorty's solidarity theory and at the same time to strengthen the author's conclusion that emphasizing practical aspects rooted in everyday human experience or concrete realities in certain contexts can be a more effective solution in increasing moral sensitivity to the suffering of others."
