Abstrak :
Penelitian ini menganalisis tindak tutur imperatif dalam film pendek Escapade karya Gijs Bloom. Hal-hal yang dianalisis dalam penelitian ini mencakup bentuk dan fungsi tindak tutur imperatif dalam film pendek Escapade. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif. Data dalam penelitian ini berupa tuturan dalam dialog film pendek Escapade karya Gijs Bloom. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teori tindak tutur dari Austin dan Searle. Bentuk tindak tutur imperatif yang terdapat pada film Escapade adalah: bentuk tindak tutur langsung literal dan bentuk tindak tutur tidak langsung literal. Fungsi tindak tutur imperatif pada film pendek Escapade adalah: perintah, ajakan, permintaan, larangan dan anjuran.

This study analyzes imperative speech acts from the short film `Escapade` by Gijs Bloom. The analysis includes the form and function of imperative speech acts within the short film. The research was conducted as a qualitative study by using descriptive methods, through which the data in this study appears in the form of a speech act taken from the short film`s dialogue, which were later transcribed into written words or sentences for the purpose of this study. In this research, Austin and Searle`s speech act theory was used to analyse the different speech act forms and functions. These include: literal direct speech acts, and literal indirect speech acts. To add, this study analyses how imperative speech acts function as orders, invitations, requests, prohibitions and suggestions within the short film.

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kesepadanan kalimat imperatif dan metode penerjemahan yang digunakan dalam penerjemahan takarir film dokumenter SAMIN vs SEMEN dengan takarir bahasa Jerman. Karya film dokumenter SAMIN vs SEMEN (Deutsche Untertitel) dipilih sebagai bahan penelitian karena terjemahan takarir bahasa jerman yang tertera mengandung banyak kalimat imperatif untuk diteliti. Analisis pada penelitian fokus pada konsep kesepadanan dalam penerjemahan yang diperkenalkan oleh Mona Baker (2018). Metode yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data untuk penelitian adalah metode simak dan catat. Setelah itu data diklasifikasikan kesepadanannya berdasarkan metode penerjemahan sehingga dapat diketahui sejauh mana kesepadanan terjemahan kalimat imperatif dari bahasa Indonesia ke dalam bahasa Jerman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kesepadanan kalimat imperatif dalam terjemahan takarir bahasa Jerman dalam film dokumenter SAMIN vs SEMEN mencapai 95% dengan 1 dari 20 data diklasifikasikan tidak sepadan. Semoga hasil penelitian ini dapat menjadi tambahan pengetahuan atau referensi yang berguna bagi peneliti, pemelajar atau mahasiswa yang mempelajari bahasa Jerman di Indonesia. ......This research aimed to acknowledge the equivalence of imperative sentences and translation strategy which is used in documentary film SAMIN vs SEMEN with German language subtitle. The documentary film SAMIN vs SEMEN (Deutsche Untertitel) is selected as research material because  many imperative sentences are found in the film. The analysis in this research focused on the concept of equivalence in translation introduced by Mona Baker (2018). To determine the equivalence classification in the translation results of the imperative sentence, the equivalence test is carried out through analysis of the translation strategies used by this documentary’s translator. The data collection method used in this research is the observation method using note-taking techniques. Then the equivalent of data is classified based on its translation strategies so it can be discovered to which extent the equivalence of the imperative sentence translation from Indonesian into German language. The results of this research showed that the equivalence of imperative sentences in the German translation of subtitles in the documentary film SAMIN vs SEMEN reached 95% in which 1 out of 20 data classified as not equivalence. Hopefully the research on this topic could increasing the insights and number of useful reading references, especially for researchers, teachers and German language enthusiasts in Indonesia.

Abstrak :
This book puts forward a fresh perspective. It analyzes imperatives in terms of modalized propositions, and identifies an additional, presuppositional, meaning component that makes an assertive interpretation inappropriate. The author shows how these two elements can help explain the varied effects imperatives have, depending on their usage context. Imperatives have been viewed as elusive components of language because they have a range of functions that makes them difficult to unify theoretically. This fresh view of the semantics-pragmatics interface allows for a uniform semantic analysis while accounting for the pragmatic versatility of imperatives.
