"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan antara hardiness dan pola attachment pada mahasiswa yang sedang mengerjakan skripsi. Penelitian dilakukan pada 106 partisipan yang memiliki karakteristik mahasiswa yang sedang mengerjakan skripsi. Hardiness diukur dengan alat ukur Dispositional Resilience Scale-15R yang disusun oleh Bartone (1995) dan telah diadaptasi oleh Lukman (2008). Pola attachment diukur dengan alat ukur Pola Attachment yang disusun oleh Diantika (2004) dan diadaptasi oleh Moeljosoedjono (2008). Hasil utama yang didapat dari penelitian ini adalah terdapat hubungan positif antara hardiness dan pola secure attachment pada mahasiswa yang sedang mengerjakan skripsi serta terdapat hubungan negatif antara hardiness dan pola insecure attachment pada mahasiswa yang sedang mengerjakan skripsi.

This research is conducted to see the relationship between hardiness and attachment style in students who are currently working on their thesis to get bachelor degree. There are 106 participants involved in this research, they all have the characteristic as students who are currently working on a thesis to get bachelor degree. Hardiness was measured by Dispositional Resilience Scale-15R developed by Bartone (1989) that has been adapted by Lukman (2008). Attachment style is measured by an attachment style measurement developed by Diantika (2004) and has been adapted by Moeljosoedjono (2008). The main result of this research found that there is a positive correlation between hardiness and secure attachment and there is a negative correlation between hardiness and insecure attachment in students who are currently working on thesis to get bachelor degree."

"ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran parentification terhadap hardiness pada mahasiswa bidikmisi di Indonesia. Parentification dikur dengan Parentification Inventory (Hooper, 2009) dan hardiness diukur dengan Dispositional Resilience Scale-15 (Bartone, 2007). Partisipan yang terlibat dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 482 mahasiswa yang berasal dari Perguruan Tinggi Negeri di Indonesia, terdiri dari 351 perempuan dan 131 laki-laki dengan rentang usia 18-24 tahun (M = 20,02, SD = 1,376). Data yang diperoleh dari seluruh partisipan dianalisis menggunakan analisis regresi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara umum, parentification berperan secara signifikan dan positif terhadap hardiness (𝛽 = 0,211, p < 0,01). Untuk tipe parentification, emotional parentification berperan lebih besar terhadap hardiness (𝛽 = 0,393, p < 0,01), dibandingkan dengan instrumental parentification (𝛽 = -0,161, p < 0,05).

ABSTRACT

This study aims to examine the role of parentification toward hardiness among college students of bidikmisi scholarship in Indonesia. Parentification was measured using Parentification Inventory (Hooper, 2009) and hardiness was measured using Dispositional Resilience Scale-15 (Bartone, 2007). Participants involved in this study were 482 students from State Universities in Indonesia, consisted of 351 women and 131 men with an age range of 18-24 years (M = 20,02, SD = 1,376). Data obtained from all participants were analyzed using regression analysis. The results indicated that in general, parentification has a significant and positive role towards hardiness (𝛽 = 0,211, p < 0,01). For the type of parentification, emotional parentification has a greater role towards hardiness (𝛽 = 0.393, p <0.01), compared to instrumental parentification (𝛽 = -0,161, p < 0,05)."

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan antara optimisme dan hardiness pada mahasiswa program Diploma III Kebidanan di daerah DKI Jakarta, Sumatera Barat, Jawa Barat, dan Banten. Pengambilan data dilakukan pada 571 partisipan mahasiswa program Diploma III Kebidanan dengan menggunakan kuesioner, Life Orientation Test Revised (LOT-R) untuk mengukur optimisme dan Dispositional Resilience Scale 15-Revised (DRS 15-R) untuk mengukur hardiness. Hasil uji statistik menunjukan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antara optimisme dan hardiness (r = + 0.380, N = 571; p < 0.01, two tails) pada mahasiswa program Diploma III Kebidanan pada empat wilayah yang sudah ditentukan. Hal tersebut menunjukan bahwa semakin tinggi skor optimisme individu, maka semakin tinggi pula skor hardiness

ABSTRAK

The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between optimism and hardiness in midwifery students in the area of Jakarta, West Sumatra, West Java and Banten. Data were collected on 571 midwifery diploma students using questionnaires, which consist of Life Orientation Test-Revised (LOT-R) to measure optimism and Dispositional Resilience Scale 15-Revised (DRS 15-R) to measure hardiness. Statistical test results showed that there is a positive and significant relationship between optimism and hardiness (r = + 0.380, N = 571; p < 0.01, two tails) on midwifery diploma students in four areas mentioned. In other words, the higher the optimism score individual gets, the higher his/her hardiness score."
