"Dalam era globalisasi dan perkembangan teknologi yang sangat pesat, berbagai sektor industri juga turut mengalami kemajuan pesat. Perkembangan teknologi dan industri indonesia tidak terlepas dari berkembangnya industri minyak dan gas bumi saat ini. Kemajuan ini mendorong munculnya banyak persaingan, salah satu strategi untuk menghadapi persaingan luar yaitu dengan melakukan strategi Continuous Improvement.
PT. Pertamina Hulu Energi Offshore North West Java memiliki beberapa pilar konsep improvement, diantaranya yaitu Managing Historical Losses . Unplanned shutdown merupakan salah satu kendala yang harus dihadapi oleh perusahaan setiap jam operasi oleh karena itu pengurangan kejadian Unplanned shutdown ini merupakan salah satu hal terpenting.
Kejadian Unplanned shutdown yang disebabkan oleh Turbine Gas Compressor dapat di analisa menggunakan Reliability Centered Maintenance untuk mendapatkan potential failure yang mungkin terjadi dengan menggunakan FMEA. Sedangkan simulasi Monte Carlo digunakan untuk forecasting kejadian Unplanned shutdown di tahun-tahun mendatang. Semua hasil tersebut akan di analisa dengan Benefit-Cost Analysis untuk mendapatkan metode optimasi maintenance yang paling optimal.

In the era of globalization and rapid technological development, various sectors of the industry also experienced a rapid progress. The development of technology and industry in indonesia is inseparable from the development of oil and gas industry at the moment. This progress led to the emergence of a lot of competition, one strategy for dealing with out-of-competition that is by doing a Continuous Improvement Strategy.
PT. Pertamina Hulu Energi Offshore North West Java has some pillars of the concept of improvement, among others, namely Managing Historical Losses . Unplanned shutdown is one of the obstacles to be faced by any company operating hours therefore a reduction in incidence of Unplanned shutdown is one of the most important things.
Incidence of Unplanned shutdown caused by the Gas Turbine Compressor can be analyzed using the Reliability Centered Maintenance to get potential failure that may occur with the use of FMEA. While Monte Carlo simulation is used for forecasting incidence of Unplanned shutdown in years to come. All the results will be analyzed with a Benefit-Cost Analysis method to get the most optimal maintenance optimization.

"ABSTRAK
Tujuan utama dari penelitian adalah untuk mengidentifikasi komponen yang paling kritis atau paling lemah berbasis analisis RAMD. Peningkatan kinerja komponen akan dilakukan pada komponen terlemah yang ditemukan. Data time-between-failure (TBF) dan time-to-repair (TTR) dikumpulkan untuk memperkirakan reliability, availability, maintainability, dependability, dan mean-time between hazardous failure (MTBH). Berbagai ukuran kinerja pabrik seperti mean-time-to-repair (MTTR) dan mean-time-between-failure (MTBF) juga dipaparkan dalam penelitian. Permodelan kinerja sistem didasarkan pada asumsi bahwa data perbaikan dan kegagalan adalah bersifat konstan dan independen secara statistik. Untuk merepresentasikan penerapan metode yang diusulkan, Lini Produksi NPK, Water Treatment Plant dan cooling tower digunakan sebagai objek penelitian untuk studi kasus evaluasi dan peningkatan kinerja sistem. Data kegagalan dan data perbaikan dapat menjadi basis data yang berguna bagi manajemen untuk meningkatkan availability dari sistem.

ABSTRACT
The main objective of this study is to identify the most critical or weakest components based on RAMD analysis. System performance and Improvement will be performed on the most critical component. Time-between-failure (TBF) and time-to-repair (TTR) data are collected to estimate reliability, availability, maintainability, dependability, and mean-time between hazardous failures (MTBH). The dependability parameters are solely applied to those subsystems that have both constant failure rate and repair rate. Various measures of plant performance such as MTTR and MTBF are as well presented. Performance modeling of the system is carried out based on the assumption that both repair and failure data are statistically independent. To show the application of the proposed method, NPK fertilizer production line, Water Treatment Plant and Cooling Tower System as repairable production system has been provided for case studies of performance evaluation. The records of failure and repair data can be a useful database for the management of to improve system availability."

"Dalam membuat produk yang berkualitas baik maka yang memegang peranan penting adalah produktifitas dari alat-alat produksi yang tidak terganggu, ketersediaan (avalability) dari alat-alat produksi yang tinggi, dan kondisi dari alat­ alat produksi yang handal (reliable). Bila ketiga faktor tersebut tidak ada hambatan yang berarti maka bisa dipastikan bahwa produk yang dihasilkan mempunyai kualitas yang tinggi. Penerapan RCM II pada mesin penutup (closer) 60 L merupakan cara yang tepat untuk mengaplikasikan teknik perawatan generasi ketiga ini karena mesin penutup pada pabrik susu ini membuat produk yang tingkut pemakaiannya tinggi sehingga kualitas dari produksi sangat diperhatikan. Ada tujuh pertanyaan dasar dari pengerjaan RCM II dan apabila ketujuh pertanyaan dapat dijawab maka dengan sendirinya sudah dapat mengaplikasikan RCM II dengan baik. Penerapan RCM II dimulai dari pembagian mesin ke dalam sub sistem dan dibagi lagi dalam komponen. Setelah terbagi menjadi komponen maka ditentukan fungsi dari komponen tersebut, selanjumya ditentukan kegagalan fungsi dari komponen tersebut. Langkah selanjutnya adalah menentukan penyebab dari kegagalan fungsi komponen dan dicari akar penyebab terjadinya kegagalan fungsi komponen tersebut. Langkah selanjutnya adalah menentukan efek dari kegagalan fungsi komponen tersebut, dan ditentukan komsekuensi kegagalan tersebut apakah...

In order to make a good quality product so the thing that has importing role is productivity from the production tools that can't be interuppted, the high availability of the production tools, and the reliability term of the produvtion tools. If there's no stuck about these three factors we can be sure the output will have a high quality product. The application of RCM II in a closer machine is the appropiate way to apply in this third generation of maintenance technique because the closer machine of milk rectory is making a highly using product so the quality of production must get a 1ot of attention. There 7 basic question from working on RCM Il and if those 7 question can be answered so it self can already applying RCM Il good enough. The application of RCM II started from devide the machine into subsystems and devide again in component. After all be devide as component then defined the function of the component, after that we have to defined about the functional failure of component. The next step will be defining the failure modes and find the root cause of failure. The next step will be defining the fsilure effect and defining the failure consequences that affect to safety and environment, operation, non-operation, or hidden failure. "Pemeliharaan kapal merupakan salah satu faktor penentu tercapainya kepentingan bisnis bagi perusahaan pelayaran dan sekaligus sebagai langkah untuk memenuhi ketentuan yang berlaku tentang kelaiklautan kapal. Selain itu banyaknya kecelakaan yang terjadi pada kapal dan rendahnya waktu operasi kapal (commission days) sebagian besar diakibatkan oleh kegagalan dalam kegiatan pemeliharaan. Sistim pemeliharaan baku yang digunakan oleh perusahaan pelayaran nasional saat ini masih terbilang konvensional, sehingga perlu dilakukan studi pada manajemen pemeliharaan perusahaan pelayaran nasional terhadap penggunaan sistem pemeliharaan alternatif yang lebih efektif dan efisien. Kajian yang dilakukan yaitu mempelajari aspek ? aspek kegiatan dalam manajemen pemeliharaan kapal, khususnya sistem pemeliharaan yang digunakan oleh perusahaan pelayaran nasional terhadap penggunaan sistem pemeliharaan alternatif dengan metode Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM). Penelitian dilakukan dengan cara studi kasus yang dilaksanakan di PT.X, sebuah perusahaan pelayaran nasional yang memiliki armada (kapalkapal) milik jenis tanker, dengan bobot 3000 DWT hingga 30.000 DWT. Total armada yang dimiliki PT.X adalah sebanyak 35 unit kapal dan 77% diantaranya adalah kapal berusia lebih dari 10 tahun. Proses analisa yang dilakukan adalah membandingkan commission days rata ? rata per tahun yang dicapai armada milik PT.X dengan commission days standar. Selanjutnya dilakukan pendugaan peningkatan commission days bila PT.X menggunakan sistem pemeliharaan dengan metode RCM dan hasilnya dijadikan sebagai acuan untuk menganalisis kemungkinan dan kelayakan penggunaan RCM sebagai strategi yang reliable dalam manajemen pemeliharaan PT.X, serta dapat dijadikan pertimbangan dan panduan bagi perusahaan pelayaran nasional dalam menerapkan sistem pemeliharaan yang mengacu pada prinsip?Reliability and Maintainability?.

Ship maintenance represents one of the most important factors to get business interest for liner and at the same time as step to fulfill regulation about ship seaworthiness. Beside that, the number of accident that happened at ship and lower time operate for ship (commission days) is mostly resulted by poor maintenance activity. Standard maintenance systems which used by national liner in this time is still conventional, so that require studied about maintenance management in national liner to usage of alternative maintenance system that more efficient and effective. This paper describe a study of aspects in ship maintenance management activity, especially maintenance system that used by national liner compared to alternative maintenance system of Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) method. Research conducted by executed case study in PT.X, a national liner of own fleet with tanker type, which weight is 3000 DWT till 30.000 DWT. Totalize armada had by PT.X is counted 35 ship unit and 77% among others is ship that have age more than 10 year. Analyze taken is comparing average commission days per reached year of own fleet PT.X with standard commission days. Furthermore is conducted estimate improvement of commission days if PT.X use management system with RCM method and the result is made as reference to analyze possibility and eligibility of usage of RCM as strategy which is reliable in maintenance management of PT.X, and also can be made by guidance and consideration to national liner in applying management system which relate at ?Reliability and Maintainability"" principal."

"ABSTRAK
Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) merupakan metode analisis pemeliharaan yang digunakan untuk memperbaiki sistem pemeliharaan yang berfokus untuk meningkatkan kehandalan mesin. Permasalahan yang terjadi pada mesin produksi pada PT Bakrie Building Industries, Tbk adalah seringnya terjadi kegagalan mesin yang menyebabkan rendahnya kehandalan mesin. Dari data tahun 2009-2010, dilakukan penelitian terhadap waktu kegagalan mesin dari 10 komponen kritis yang menyebabkan berhentinya mesin saat berproduksi. Penelitian dilakukan dengan pengolahan data Time Between Failure (TBF) sesuai pencocokan distribusi probabilitasnya kemudian dihitung tingkat kehandalan komponen sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan preventive maintenance dengan interval tertentu. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa terdapat lima komponen, Wire Cut Off, Conveyor, Duraqual, Main Drive, dan Felt, yang meningkat kehandalannya setelah dilakukan preventive maintenance dan lima komponen lainnya, Stacker-2, Stacker-1, Pad, Saringan, dan Trim, tidak memerlukan preventive maintenance karena hanya akan menimbulkan biaya tanpa meningkatkan kehandalannya.

ABSTRACT
Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) is maintenance analysis method that used to improve maintenance systems that focused on improving machine reliability. The problems faced at PT Bakrie Building Industries, Tbk are frequency of machine failure that causing low of machine reliability. From historical data in 2009-2010, research focused on ten critical component that causing machine stoppages in operation. The study start with fit the probability distribution of Time Between Failure (TBF) then calculate component reliability before and after using preventive maintenance with some interval. Results of analysis are there is five component, Wire Cut Off, Conveyor, Duraqual, Main Drive, dan Felt, that have improvement of their reliability after using preventive maintenance and five other component, Stacker-2, Stacker-1, Pad, Saringan, dan Trim, do not require preventive maintenance because it only cause cost of maintenance without increasing their reliability."
