Abstrak :
Tesis ini mengkaji secara mendalam dan memaparkan tentang respon misoginis pengguna Twitter terhadap cuitan isu terkait marital rape. Sebuah unggahan oleh akun @TsamaraDKI memantik berbagai reaksi dari para pengguna Twitter lainnya untuk memberikan tanggapan dan reaksinya terhadap unggahan tersebut. Kajian ini menggunakan Teori Feminisme Radikal. Selain itu, penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa munculnya respon misoginis terhadap isu marital rape oleh para pengguna Twitter lainnya dipengaruhi oleh pemikiran patriarki, ketidakpahaman atas ketimpangan relasi kuasa yang menjadi akar dari segala jenis kekerasan seksual, dan sikap opresif terhadap Tsamara karena ia telah secara vokal berbicara tentang isu yang dianggap tabu di masyarakat. Oleh karena masih kurangnya pemahaman para pengguna Twitter yang notabene juga bagian dari masyarakat terkait pendidikan seksualitas dan hak otonomi tubuh, disarankan untuk menggencarkan gerakan kolektif aktivisme feminis digital di media sosial untuk menyebarkan wawasan seputar seksualitas dan kesehatan reproduksi. Tujuannya, agar mulai terbentuk kesadaran dan pemahaman bahwa hak otonomi tubuh merupakan prinsip penting yang terus berlaku bahkan saat berada dalam ranah pernikahan. ......This thesis examines in depth and describes the misogynistic response of Twitter users to tweets related to marital rape. A tweet uploaded by the account @TsamaraDKI sparked various reactions from other Twitter users to provide their responses and reactions to the upload. In addition, this thesis shows clearly the characteristics of misogyny that are reflected in the reactions of Twitter users when reacting to the issue of marital rape. This study uses the Theory of Radical Feminism. In addition, this study uses a qualitative approach. The results of this study indicate that the emergence of a misogynistic response to the issue of marital rape by other Twitter users is influenced by patriarchal thoughts, a lack of understanding of the imbalance of power relations which is the root of all kinds of sexual violence, and an oppressive attitude towards Tsamara because she has spoken vocally about issues that are considered taboo in society. Because there is still a lack of understanding among Twitter users, who are also part of society, regarding sexuality education and bodily autonomy, it is advisable to intensify the digital feminist activism collective movement on social media to spread insights about sexuality and reproductive health. The goal is to start to form awareness and understanding that the right to body autonomy is an important principle that continues to apply even when in the realm of marriage.
